FINALS 9/10: BUTTS x SPIELRAUM

For our final queer night at OOST, BUTTS touches cheeks with Amsterdam queer collective SPIELRAUM. Through an ahead-of-curves take on queer club music, careful eye for social safety and community, supercharged dance floors and now their own cherished space with RAUM they’ve redefined the meaning of queer clubbing with massive impact. They’re bringing their delicious energy and some of their international and Dutch residents to combine with the BUTTS music, decor and performance you’ve come to know and love across our two floors. Come play, kom OOST.

Presale tickets are live now behind the link in our bio.

The last of many gentle OOST takeovers by Spaces marks the conclusion of pride month, endings at Oosterstraat 13A and the first minutes of the final BUTTS. Join us ahead of the club night this Saturday as the crew presents a group of LGBTQIA+- performers exploring love, joy and grief in the context of queerness. From 21:30 til 23:59 and free to attend for all.

Act 2 - 23:45–00:00
An interactive dance & rhythm performance by @emma.zeimen and @filip_mozetic
This performance seamlessly leads into the club night, so a BUTTS x SPIELRAUM ticket is required for entry.

Friday’s performers are about to blind your blinkers! Burly beauty @falcocane winds up the audience with just a wiggle of the hips. It’s rockstar energy manifested into drag, glamour and spectacle. And you’ll be front row, begging for more. Platonic lover and friend of the show @zuko_d_anthony returns to our stage to give you some of the best whacking you’ll see in this city. Always a show, always encouraging you to join, but also showing everyone how it’s really done. Simply: always a pleasure at OOST.

This qt joins the Butts team!

Influenced by movements, scenes and styles that reject the contemporary norms of society, such as DIY film and camp, he seeks to break free from expectation by embracing message over medium and fun over seriousness. Expect some vibrant, energetic visuals serving a high level of cunt as he pays homage to the beauty of queer club life.

OOST: Heavy heart, full of love and pride: last edition was @timnotsimon’s final time with BUTTS. After six years of putting soul, spirit, creativity and countless balloons into it, it’s time to turn the page.

All of the magical decors might have stood out to you first, but Tim’s addition to BUTTS has entailed everything from conceptualization to performance curation, close communication with artists, connecting with the community, performing themselves and content creation. Tim: from the first knot to the last detail–your tireless work has made this beautiful queer party to what it is today. Thank you for everything, and then some. We’re sending you infinite love for all of the wonderful things coming your way ❤️

For BUTTS that means a new twist on visual identity and decor; more on that later. For now, enjoy all Tim’s work made for Butts in chronological order🌈 taken in OOST by @buttsarecamp

Think like a genius once so you don’t have to think twice. BASHKKA moves through powerful, classy house and techno with fierce confidence; the way these hands move reveals the years of passion that drives them. Going above and beyond to carry queer club culture and its heritage forward, Friday’s Butts is exactly the type of place where BASHKKA’s DJing blossoms. You’re gonna need some breakneck heels to match these heights. 🍑💃🌈

It might be Friday the 13th but we’re feeling lucky. BUTTS holds the aces, some jacks and all of the queens for a Queer Night par excellence. Juliana X, Coco Coquelicot, Egon Centrik and Creature of the Moss spice up the main; Femboy Slim and Cadillac lean back in the zen-ified pink room. Timnotsimon and Vuilmasker with the iconic decor, count your blessings.

Can’t wait to meet you tomorrow. Tempt the devil on the 13th for some clubbing in the edge 😈

Tickets online and at the door.

Juliana X @juliana.xtra is a powerhouse in house music and a trailblazer in the LGBTQIA+ scene. Known for her electrifying DJ sets, she fuses the soulful legacy of Chicago house with the raw grooves of Detroit techno, layered with gritty basslines, acid textures, and hip-hop energy. Her performances are a unique blend of nostalgia and a modern edge, creating unforgettable dancefloor experiences that connect with diverse crowds.

Based in Rotterdam, this Brazilian-born DJ is a fierce advocate for inclusivity, co-founding platforms like Zuperstition and Kult Funktion to elevate underrepresented voices. This year, Juliana joined Honey Dijon’s iconic “House Nation” world tour and is announced as part of the legendary Warehouse Project, where she will open the mainstage for Fatboy Slim.
