Looking back at Queer Joy, Love & Grief
꒷꒦︶꒷꒦︶

Almost at the end of pride month we held this cozy event to celebrate the queer commuinty through spoken word, poetry, and music performances.
Amazing @cashmyra captured the main act in the photos.

Afterwards, we watched an extemporary sound & dance performance transitioning into the club night of @buttsarecamp. Thank you @willem.fillem for capuring it.

It was a truly special night <3

See you soon?
Love,
Spaces ✶

The last of many gentle OOST takeovers by Spaces marks the conclusion of pride month, endings at Oosterstraat 13A and the first minutes of the final BUTTS. Join us ahead of the club night this Saturday as the crew presents a group of LGBTQIA+- performers exploring love, joy and grief in the context of queerness. From 21:30 til 23:59 and free to attend for all.

Act 2 - 23:45–00:00
An interactive dance & rhythm performance by @emma.zeimen and @filip_mozetic

A peek behind that thick @spielraum_amsterdam curtain. This Saturday the illustrious Amsterdam queer party flaunt their way up North to embody their long-standing mission; putting on inclusive, queer-lead nights with lazer focus on energy and detail. It led to a record density in “you should’ve been there” mentions over the past decade and ultimately to love baby @club.raum, which is rapidly becoming one of our capital’s defining club spaces.

Two of their cherished residents, two dance floors, the BUTTS sauce with a new twist; one devilish way to kiss our queer nights goodbye. See you this weekend 💞

FINALS 9/10: BUTTS x SPIELRAUM

The last @buttsarecamp cruises to an iconic high as we link up with Amsterdam queer collective @spielraum_amsterdam. Two very special guest, two dance floors with both uplifting and nasty, gritty soundtracking and some of our favourite performers returning; Saturday night has ‘unforgettable’ written all over it.

Presale is almost sold out. Last ones available via the link.

FINALS 9/10: BUTTS x SPIELRAUM

For our final queer night at OOST, BUTTS touches cheeks with Amsterdam queer collective SPIELRAUM. Through an ahead-of-curves take on queer club music, careful eye for social safety and community, supercharged dance floors and now their own cherished space with RAUM they’ve redefined the meaning of queer clubbing with massive impact. They’re bringing their delicious energy and some of their international and Dutch residents to combine with the BUTTS music, decor and performance you’ve come to know and love across our two floors. Come play, kom OOST.

Presale tickets are live now behind the link in our bio.

Scream and shout it loud for Friday’s @buttsarecamp performers: Falco Cane and Zuko D. Anthony!

Burly beauty; @falcocane winds up the audience with just a wiggle of the hips. It’s rockstar energy manifested into drag, glamour and spectacle. And you’ll be front row, begging for more.

Platonic lover and friend of the show @zuko_d_anthony returns to our stage to give you some of the best waacking you’ll see in this city. Always a show, always encouraging you to join, but also showing everyone how it’s really done. Simply: always a pleasure.
