Emma Turnbow, CONGRATULATIONS on receiving The 2025 Grace Hillary Jean Horsemanship Award 🥇
There’s truly no greater honor in equestrian sport than a horsemanship award. Last year came with plenty of ups and downs, but you and Jagger finished on such a high note. I am incredibly proud of you, and I can’t wait to see what 2026 has in store for you both.

2025 has been such an incredible year because of this guy🐴 Thank you Chance, for trusting me, loving me, and showing me I can do more than I ever thought possible (while mostly listening to my neurosurgeon😜). Just when I want to give up, you remind me why I shouldn’t. We’ve both come a long way. I’m so grateful to Izzy, Karen, Charlotte, my Forest Edge Farm family, Espen, my mom, and my sister for believing in me and supporting this journey. Happy Birthday Zach! Watching you grow up over the past 20 years has been such a gift. You have taught and continue to teach me so many things. I really have no words for yesterday, but the first one that comes to mind is gratitude. Chance you were the perfect boy yesterday. This horse has my ❤️. He’s taught me so much. Thank you to my @forest_edge_farm Family. You all have helped me in so many ways. @isabellem.eq, @mandymariesmith830 and @peytonmm_eq thank you for getting me dressed😂 That hairnet was a doozy!!!! And thank you to @_karengoodell_ . You are so many things to me. Thank you for making my dreams come true❤️🐴❤️ @charlotte_eq79 this all started because of you and Iggy. So, if you saw my story yesterday, Chance went digging for a treat and came up with the trigger leash to my @horsepilot Air Vest. Needless to say it deployed and we all had a good laugh. After, I started thinking and it just didn’t feel like it inflated all the way. Having a spinal cord injury leaves me with a lot of self doubt and anxiety. This morning I texted @rideequisafe and they immediately responded and we did a test deployment. I cannot recommend this company enough. If you are looking for any safety equipment, trust me when I say they are the best. The customer service is amazing and they truly care about safety. Thank you @rideequisafe for putting my mind at ease this morning❤️ FYI, the safety stirrups you recommended have been amazing😍 taken in Forest Edge Farm by @buttski68

On March 6th, 2022, Charlotte and I thought it would be funny if I took a picture on Iggy and sent it to my neurosurgeon. Needless to say, the rest is history.
The Forest Edge Farm family is so big and I am so grateful for the support they have given me and continue to give me.
Thank you Karen, for everything you’ve done for me. There is not a better trainer. Laying in that hospital bed wondering if I’d be able walk, let alone ride, is something that never crossed my mind. I can’t put into words what it has done for me both physically and mentally. To top it off I now have a friend that I absolutely cherish.

It wouldn’t be Thanksgiving if I didn’t thank the best human and friend I’ve ever had. You gave so much and asked for so little. Your smile and sense of humor was unmatched.
