POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

// note //

earlier this year, i invited my friends and family for a portrait session with me. something that i have always been wanting to do. ((( and probably an excuse to see them )))

photos were taken in between conversations—during pauses, laughters, and moments of catching up. a good 10-minute or so with them that was made perpetual through these images.

doing this with them feels like mirroring that same light, presence and familiarity brought to me by these people. and it’s only right to do it through the medium that has long been my way of understanding and expressing.

in its core, this feels like returning to my purpose -to connect, and just be through my lens. and to fully trust my instinct and let it take me without reservation 🌱 by @by.alanismari

Art direction and styling for @royalgem.ph

Explored the strength and elegance of motherhood through jewel tones and natural textures—a visual language that honors the women who raised us, stood as our role models, and remained fearlessly their own kind of woman 🌹 by @by.alanismari
