The Gilded Gathering by @mulgabeltliving

On Saturday I had the privilege of guest speaking. Sharing what this season of life has taught me about resilience, kindness, perspective, motherhood, and the way we show up for each other through hard times.

It was incredibly special to share that moment with my own mum beside me. A woman whose strength, compassion, and ability to keep showing up for others has shaped so much of who I am.

This Mother’s Day, more than anything, I just felt grateful.
Grateful to hold my boys close.
Grateful for my family.
Grateful to have celebrated with so many incredible women, all navigating their own seasons of life.

Oh baby Harrison. You are so loved.

Thank you to Anna and Craig for entrusting me to capture your first few moments as a new family of three. It was such a privilege.

I went into the session with a full plan to capture behind the scenes. As soon as I walked in the door I totally locked in and redirected my focus to the magic that is the newborn bubble. Quiet moments, laughter, newborn cries, the priorities of the babies needs. It is so precious and something BTS would never be able to capture anyway.

Instead, I captured the small moments and filmed a little home movie on my camcorder. Date stamp and all.

I’ve included some of the previews at the end of the reel. Make sure you grab a tissue. Harrison is too cute!!!

JADA Media gave me my spark back when I became a mum.

Don’t get me wrong, I am incredibly grateful and so deeply in love with my boys. Every day with them is a dream come true. But somewhere deep down, I also felt pulled to build something. Something of my own. I was motivated to create a new career path, one that gave me freedom with my babies and didn’t ask me to fit into a 9–5.

Over the last two years, this business has grown in ways I could never have imagined. But it grew in the spaces life allowed.
Around family.
Around motherhood.
Around everything that matters most.

It’s taught me to step back so I can move forward.
To own mistakes and still back myself.
To chase what excites me.
To find a way.
To stay creative.
To say yes with intention and no without guilt.
To keep learning.
And to stay deeply grateful.

Two years of JADA Media.
