Historic day ahead, and I am personally so excited to see HRH King Charles desire to make a difference, especially with sustainability and care for our environment at the heart of decisions.

All the flowers used today I understand are from @flowersfromthefarm and then will be repurposed by @floralangels, which is a wonderful example to set before the world.

My flowers pictured here were designed to share my shift into more eco minded wedding flowers. They were wrapped with eco hand-dyed bamboo silk ribbon, seasonal & locally grown farm flowers and greenery as much as possible for October apart from the scented David Austen roses.

Love the beauty of all of natures seasons but this winter day I am dreaming of big bright summery weddings. Are you?

Here is a pedestal design used for two ways with lush romantic lemon, garden peach & cream roses for couples who love flowers and want statement luxury flowers throughout their wedding day.

It is sometimes hard to imagine the scale and size of this type of designs so I created this one to discuss during consultations with the best artificial stems as a starting place. For a more a organic natural style for example, all that is needed is some added wispy tall flowers and touches of casading greenery. Either way the design and flowers will be bespoke to reflect your style.

Oh, lilac season... just imagine the fragrance...

Wouldn't it be lovely to have a lilac woodland backdrop, a flower-filled meadow aisle, and lush abundant spring blooms adorning the head table and reception tables?

Big plans for your wedding day & flowers? Think big. If you have the opportunity to have a floral staircase, you wont regret it. How gorgeous is this ombre staircase design. I loved working on this with fellow freelancer Efy @paularooneyfloraldesigner at this completely magical 'Great Showman' like era wedding venue Aynhoe Park.

If you want your guests to be completly wowed and never experience anything like it kind of place, I would highly recommend Aynhoe Park! Truely extra-ordinary!

Ps. The staff were so kind and friendly really going out of their way while I was there.

Of all the bridal bouquets I have designed this 'winter secret garden' bouquet should not be a secret!

This started my shift in sustainable wedding florisrty, and I have loved the learning journey to date...

Why?

1. Always been a lover of nature and the beauty & wild romance of flowers

2. Why shouldn't we all take as many tiny or big steps towards doing things better and to protect our planet

3. I love creating meaningful story'-telling bouquets and this one between the seasonal choice elements, the British grown as much as possible, and the names of the flowers says so much! It is more than a bouquet of bridal flowers but has a unique story like all my flowers designed and mindfully selected every stem.

4. Scent matters with the use of scented flowers like these David Austin roses can help relive the memories of a day you will never forget.

Is this bouquet all eco? No, but as many parts of it and this photoshoot materials that I could source in a sustainable way I have.
