There’s something truly special about the small details that carry the spirit of a celebration just a little further.

For Charlotte’s beautiful milestone birthday, alongside her main cake, she chose to gift each of her guests a petite cake to take home - a thoughtful party favour designed to echo the style and elegance of the celebration cake itself. Each one reflected the same aesthetic, colours and delicate design, allowing the sweet details of the event to weave effortlessly into the décor and table setting.

Petite cakes like these become more than just favours, they are a continuation of the celebration, a small moment of joy for guests to enjoy later and a reminder of a truly special day.
We were absolutely delighted when Charlotte chose to celebrate in this way, and it was such a privilege for us to create these little cakes and play a small role in such a meaningful milestone.
A celebration we will remember fondly✨

This week, may I inspire you to consider a delightful escape to the charming island of Jersey? It is the birthplace of Victor Hugo, the author of Les Miserables and The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and the home of the renowned actor Henry Cavill. A mere hour's flight from London Heathrow, Jersey offers a wonderful opportunity to start to discover the scenic beauty of the Channel Islands.

Our journey began in Liberation Square, where we savoured the flavours of the island's renowned Jersey dairy cows and Jersey royal potatoes. We then strolled into St Helier town along the seaside, taking in the fresh sea air. We booked a bus tour admiring the picturesque bays and a lighthouse, and even walked to Elizabeth Castle when the tide was low. Our absolute favourite dining experience over the 3 days was at the hidden gem, the Italian restaurant called Bellagio, where we indulged in their home-cooked culinary masterpieces.

The convenience of being able to easily walk into town and utilize the local bus system was a significant advantage. We also thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the @grandjerseyhotel, which included breakfast and access to the spa. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating.

Had we had more time, I would have loved to visit the Gerald Durrell conservation zoo and delve deeper into the islands history and art.

Overall, it was a great relaxed getaway, which we were blessed to have a wonderful time with our dear friends Jane & Andy.

It was a genuine delight to have experienced the elegant ambiance and savor a flawless afternoon tea at The Savoy in London.

I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to my dear friend Tania for a splendid day, which included a lovely walk amidst the beauty of Chelsea in Bloom flowers and a delightful birthday celebration treat, marking the start of this half-century with afternoon tea at The Savoy. It was truly an iconic and unforgettable event, enhanced by the live pianist and a personalized birthday message set in a historic space with the beautiful shadows of dancers painted around the room. We were indeed fortunate to have such an exquisite and memorable experience.
