This week our trainees are moving into Module Seven — The Coaching Series ✨

By this point in their training, they’ve already built the important foundations of coaching communication, engaging with potential clients, conducting discovery calls, and stepping into their first full coaching sessions.

Now in Module Seven, they’re beginning to look at the overall structure of a Beautiful You Life Coaching Series and how those pieces come together to create a thoughtful, supportive journey for a client from beginning to end.

This is also an especially exciting stage because trainees are learning more about Pro Bono Coaching too and what’s involved in beginning to work with real-life clients as part of their training.

It’s where so much of the learning starts to become very real — moving from practising skills to putting them into action, building confidence, and beginning to discover what kind of coach they want to be!

We are delighted to honour Mariko Brenner @marikobrenner as our Coach of the Month.

Mariko is a multidisciplinary artist, Modern Muse and ethical business mentor whose work weaves together poetry, somatic healing, music, herbalism and creative entrepreneurship. Through her grounded and deeply intentional approach, she supports visionary artists, highly sensitive people and ethical entrepreneurs to build businesses that are both sustainable and fully aligned with who they are.

As the founder of Sacred Business, Mariko creates spaces for creative entrepreneurs to honour their sensitivity, artistry and values while cultivating meaningful impact. Her work blends creativity, healing and conscious leadership in a way that feels expansive, soulful and deeply human.

Let's GO! by @bycacademy

We did it…
We made it happen… We took action ..
Lynsey travelled from Scotland to London for her birthday and we met face to face for the first time 🧡
We met ‘virtually’ in July 2025, we were partnered together during our coaching training with Australian based with global reach @bycacademy with the phenomenal @julesyparker
From the get go myself and @coachlynseyurquhart were aligned, our connection felt so natural. Our @bycacademy experience was inspiring & joyful, with expert training and beautiful likeminded students from all over the 🌍. Over the year we’ve spent many hours online, coaching, discovering, challenging, growing, holding space and really cheering each other on.
Lynsey supported me in not only my growth as a coach but also with developing practices that nurture my self-love & life . Practices part of my life to this day , thank you Lynsey 🙏🏻 ✨

So we did it, we showed up face to face, it was 4 hrs (felt like 10 mins) of dazzling, uplifting heartfelt magic and connection.

Sounds like I’m over reacting … but really … am I? With the flood of AI ..is it real or fake..…. this real human touch and face to face connection… filled my heart and soul with love and lightness… And the after effect ….well ..It’s glow up to the max 💛✨💫

When YOU make it happen…
Take the action
Show up and …
Prioritise what matters to YOU
YOU feel the Joy, connection and aliveness ☀️
What’s that thing you want to say yes to? Go on, take a step 💛✨ #gratitude #afterglow#joy#connection#growthmindset by @bycacademy

This week our trainees are moving into Module Six — Goal Setting ✨

Goals are an important part of any coaching series, but great coaching goes much deeper than simply helping someone achieve an outcome.

In this module, our trainees are learning how to support clients to explore what sits underneath their goals — the feelings they want to experience, what really matters to them, and what achieving that goal represents in their life.

They’re also beginning to practise what a first full coaching session can look and feel like, supported by a detailed session script designed to help them build confidence as they develop their coaching skills.

And because there’s so much to learn from watching coaching in action, students also get a front-row seat to a real session between Master Coach Julie and her client, along with Julie’s pre-session and post-session reflections.

It’s real, practical learning that shows not only what a coach might ask, but how they listen, create space and help a client uncover powerful, heart-centred goals of their own.

Another big step forward for our coaches-in-training. 💛 by @bycacademy

Today is World Mental Health Day and the 2026 theme for this important day is...

"Lived experiences heard: real voices, real change."

World Mental Health Day is an opportunity for all of us as coaches, space holders and human beings ourselves to engage with people with lived experience of mental health conditions and recognise their knowledge from those lived experiences as a vital form of expertise. This year’s campaign calls for their voices to shape the policies, services and decisions that affect their lives.

Lived experience is what someone has experienced themselves, especially when it gives someone knowledge or understanding that people who have only heard or learnt about such experiences do not have. And we know that many if not all of you as coaches relate to this in the work you do with others.

Too often people with lived experience are asked to share their stories but are then excluded from decisions. On this World Mental Health Day, let's advocate for that to change...especially as people who honour the transitional journeys of others - and ourselves too. by @bycacademy

We’re into Module Five Calls this week - Coaching Engagement ✨

Things are really starting to hot up as we explore those very first interactions with a potential client, including your initial contact and discovery call.

This module is all about putting your coaching communication into practice, staying focused on being of service, and beginning to build your confidence in real conversations.

Trainees have the chance to practise conducting a discovery call with your coaching partner — or with a willing friend or family member. The more “real” practice you can get at this stage, the more comfortable and confident you’ll feel when the time comes to work with clients you don’t already know.

You’ll also get to watch a genuine discovery call between Julie and her coaching client. This isn’t a role play — it’s a real coaching exchange, and a wonderful opportunity to listen closely to how Julie uses the same discovery call script you now have access to.

Remember: you don’t need to have it all mastered straight away.

Big deep breath, small steps forward.

You’re well on your way, Coach. ✨ by @bycacademy

We are delighted to honour Katherine Phifer @katherinephifer as our Coach of the Month.

Katherine is a mentor and advisor helping female leaders embody a more spacious, grounded and energetically aligned way of leading. Her work centres feminine energetics as the missing intelligence in modern leadership, supporting founders, executives, creatives and visionaries to lead from presence, connection and inner coherence rather than force, burnout or performance.

Through her embodied approach to leadership, Katherine helps women deepen their influence, regulate their nervous systems and make aligned decisions that create sustainable success without depletion. Her philosophy is rooted in the belief that true leadership expands rather than exhausts — creating impact, clarity and authentic connection from the inside out.

Congratulations, Katherine — and thank you for the powerful work you do redefining leadership for women everywhere. ✨ by @bycacademy
