My last market before I close this business 💛

I’ll be at @blackculturemarket this weekend and it’s officially my final in-person market before I close the doors to By Candice Chenade. ☹️

If you’ve ever bought from me at a market, hugged me across a table, flicked through the cards, picked your favourites in person… you already know the vibe and I’d love to see you one last time.

Being a mum and a business owner means wearing a lot of hats, and I mean ALOT of hats. Creator, provider, nurturer, dispatcher, chef, personal uber driver, problem-solver… sometimes all in the same hour just to name a few.

I built By Candice Chenade with love, and so much hope for the future. A lot of it was built for her, to show her what’s possible. To show her that creativity can be a livelihood. To show her little eyes that mummy followed her dreams.

But life doesn’t stay still.

And sometimes, the bravest thing you can do isn’t to keep pushing through it all. Sometimes it’s to pause, reassess, and choose what needs you most right now.

Closing this business hasn’t been easy. I’m proud of what I built. I’m proud of the community. And I’m proud of myself for knowing when to step back and put my energy where it matters most in this season.

The response over the last 24 hours has honestly blown me away! You guys have almost had me in tears 🥲 Thank you for every order, message, share, and word of encouragement 💛🤎 It means sooooo much to me.

The closing sale is still live until 31st March.

If you’ve been meaning to stock up on cards, grab little thoughtful gifts, or pick up end of the line favourites, now’s the time. Once they’re gone, they’re gone. I’ll be adding new products and I’ll keep you updated on the way!

End of an era 🤎🥲

Closing the doors to By Candice Chenade hasn’t been an easy decision. Trust me! But it’s a decision rooted in reflection, pride, and looking after myself & my little person.

This business has held so many moments, seasons, and connections and I’m really proud of what I’ve built. Right now, I need the space to pause and work out what comes next, without rushing the process.

The closing sale is now live until 31st March.
If you’ve ever thought “I’ll grab that next time” or “I should stock up”, this is your sign.

Cards from £1.95, 50% off calendars, end-of-line favourites 50p bookmarks but once they’re gone, they’re gone.

The @blackeatsldn team set the tone and delivered a space that felt right. Community, energy, real life connection.
