Though the responsibilities of the President and a school newspaper editor differ, these novels explore the leadership of the young in power, and their resilience when things don't go according to plan.

Hear Soman Chainani and Christen Randall discuss their young adult novels Young World and According to Plan at the Southern Festival of Books on Saturday, October 17, at 1PM. Find the full schedule at www.sofestofbooks.org.

Before ➡️ After

Thank you, Crawlers, for selling me at out @poorcharlottes for the first night of the @cincybookstorecrawl! I had so much fun hanging out and chatting with you all. How truly lucky I am as an author to live in the Cincinnati area because our bookish community and the indie bookstores they support are the best around! Happy crawling this weekend!

Swipe to see my fat author fit of the day, my knitting, the cat people bathroom neon sign, and of course a celebratory treat at @goldengelatocov.

Hey Bookstore Crawlers! I’ll be at @poorcharlottes on Friday, October 2 from 2-4PM hanging out and signing books!

Please stop by and support this romance-only Covington bookstore! There’s also a cool women-owned-business incubator in the same building so you can check out even more than books! And while you’re here, hop a few storefronts down to Golden Gelato for a sweet treat! I’ll definitely be heading there after I sign. 😎

There’s also another stop on the passport, Hierophany and Hedge, just down the street! I’m just saying Pike Street is where it’s at on Friday, October 2! I’ll see you there!

(Also fun fact: Emerson from According to Plan gets her last name from this street. 😎)

On Saturday, I had the absolute delight of chatting with @aidenschmaiden for his Louisville stop on the ESPÍRITU TOUR! (Espíritour???) It’s always great time when we get to hang out, and I am so thankful to have gotten to do it again. We had so much fun talking about penning spooky scenes, our stories roleplay writing pasts, and of course Julian and Yadriel!

Thank you so much for hosting us, @anovelromancebookstore ! Y’all are the best. And thank you, Louisville Readers, for joining us!

Again when???

(Swipe to see the pictures my bestie Alyssa remembered to take because I took none!!!! Except for of my coffee, a neon sign, and our shadows walking back from the venue to her car. Typical!)
