Leia, duh!

I made this dress on a whim, it’s even kinda accurate 😂 and I would love to wear her again! But I binned the boots (I got some horrible cheap ones off Vinted, super uncomfortable and I’m too old to wear uncomfortable shoes 😂) and her hair is currently undergoing some serious maintenance (super-matted wig after using it for something else, please HALP!), so it’s sadly not happening anytime soon.

If you have any recommendations for Leia-boots that don’t break the bank: please let me know! They don’t need to be 100% accurate, I’m not going for any club approval, but they should look the part 🤍

09/10/2026 ~ HIGH CONTRAST

Heaven and hell, light and dark, bubbly and moody. Our angel and demon are probably the most contrasting characters that we have.🪽

And just because I can, I chose the monochrome versions of these pictures…and both @crafting_chrisis and @bydeebee agreed that they would totally have worked for yesterdays theme, too^^

We haven’t worn them in a while, one might want to blame S3 for it, but it also didn’t really work with the cons we attended or the pictures with celebs that we took at said cons. Maybe again next year, who knows! I kinda need to alter my 1827-coat and take it in a bit, but as I don’t love alts…it might just not happen 😂

05/10/2026 ~ REDS/ORANGES

Oh…forgot a caption. Oopsie. Let me change that…

When checking the initial post and looking for pictures to post for this year’s Fall for Costume, this one was the first one I struggled with. I thought I’m not really using reds or oranges…apart from red wigs…and then I remembered that I do have a bright red kinda Victorian gown 🫣😂

@bydeebee took this dreamy and very Victorian looking picture last year and I think it fits the brief wonderfully.

It’s a rather plasticky polyester satin, but as the colour was just right, I went with it. However, two years ago, I got my hands on 12m of silk taffeta in the perfect colour (working in film and TV, I tell you…), so now I really want to remake this costume and hopefully it’ll look even lovelier and more period.
