We’d like to thank @avgarsport for backing the @spark_wholesale_nz Invitational at Te Arai Links.

Every amateur’s merch bag came with a $50 voucher, an Avgar flask, and a black leather links bag and alignment sticks were up for grabs on the prize table. It was great to have such premium products as part of our Cisco Series event offering.

Another big thank you to @jessgreen02 for introducing us to the Avgar team and making this partnership happen. Here she is out on course with Avgar’s cream leather links bag, shot by @bynimmy 📸

Lightweight, beautifully made in NZ, and built for walking a links course. Grateful to have you both involved.

Safe to say, Drew is a very happy guy right now 😆 taken in Northland Region by @bynimmy

Family photos don’t have to mean everyone standing still and smiling at the camera.

One of my favourite things about family sessions is giving everyone space to actually be together. We might wander somewhere beautiful, collect stones, get a little windswept and stop for a cuddle when it feels right.

It keeps the session relaxed, especially for little ones, and gives you photos that feel much more like your family.

If you’ve been meaning to update your family photos, I’m now taking bookings for spring and summer. Send me a message and we can plan something fun 🤍 Relaxed beach family photography by Photography by Nimmy, showing parents smiling as their daughter stacks stones on the sand in Northland. by @bynimmy

How often does the whole team actually end up in the same photo?

Team photos can easily become one of those things a business keeps meaning to update, especially as people come and go. But there’s something valuable about having a proper photograph of the people who keep everything running. It puts real faces to the business and helps clients feel like they already know who they’ll be meeting.

For the Smart Active Solutions crew, photographing them outside their own gym made far more sense than putting them against a plain wall. The setting, uniforms and equipment give the photo context, while still keeping it clean and professional. It feels like their team, in their space.

A strong team photo can be used across your website, social media, proposals, recruitment, media features and plenty more. But beyond that, it captures the people behind the business as it is right now, and that’s worth updating every once in a while.

If your current team photo is a few staff members behind, flick me a message and we can plan something that actually suits your team and what you do.
