"I've only cried twice..." 🥹❤️

And this is exactly why we do what we do.

We asked our clients two simple questions:

👉 Who is your trainer, and what are they like?

👉 You've trained elsewhere before, so what's different about training at SAS?

The answers reminded me of something pretty special.

At SAS, it doesn't matter who takes your session (AND YES, WE SHARE 😁). You're still going to get a great experience, feel supported and be surrounded by people who genuinely care.

As the owner, hearing what our clients had to say about me and the team honestly gave me tingles.

Running a business has its highs and lows. Some days you question yourself, wonder if you're doing enough, or get caught up in all the things that need to be done.

Then you hear how you've helped someone feel more confident, overcome a barrier, find their place or do something they never thought they could do.

And you remember it's about so much more than exercise.

It's about the people.

The friendships. The laughs. The tears. The little wins that turn into big ones. And having a team that genuinely wants to see you succeed.

Even our photographer, who's been behind the camera capturing these moments, has become part of the community and has her own experiences to share.

That's what makes Smart Active Solutions special. ❤️

We're not just here to help you get fitter. We're here to help you feel better, believe in yourself and realise what you're capable of.

And we're pretty proud of the team and community we've built together.

This is SAS. This is what we're about. ❤️💪

We’d like to thank @avgarsport for backing the @spark_wholesale_nz Invitational at Te Arai Links.

Every amateur’s merch bag came with a $50 voucher, an Avgar flask, and a black leather links bag and alignment sticks were up for grabs on the prize table. It was great to have such premium products as part of our Cisco Series event offering.

Another big thank you to @jessgreen02 for introducing us to the Avgar team and making this partnership happen. Here she is out on course with Avgar’s cream leather links bag, shot by @bynimmy 📸

Lightweight, beautifully made in NZ, and built for walking a links course. Grateful to have you both involved.

Who’s actually behind Smart Active Solutions? 👀

You might know us as your trainers… but there’s a whole lot more to why we do what we do.

We sat down with @bynimmy and answered some questions about why we became personal trainers, what we love about helping people, why having a trainer can make such a difference, and what we genuinely believe you deserve from your training.

And honestly… we opened up a bit. ❤️

No scripts. No rehearsed answers. Just Budda, Stacey, Rhian, Rachel and Dilan being ourselves and talking about why we care so much about what we do.

Because personal training isn't just about lifting weights, losing weight or getting fitter.

It's about having someone in your corner.

Someone who knows your goals, understands when life gets busy, pushes you when you need it and celebrates the wins with you.

We're incredibly proud of the team we've built, and we thought it was time you got to know the people behind the sessions a little better.

Have a watch, get to know us, and let us know what you think 👇

And if you've been thinking about starting your fitness journey but haven't quite taken that first step…

Maybe this is your sign.

Reminiscing on an awesome event!! 👀

A huge thank you to Photography by Nimmy and her amazing helper, Drew for capturing the magic of the Northland Wedding + Event Expo! 📸🎥

Not only did they capture some incredible video content from the day, but they also brought such awesome energy wherever they went.

These two are simply so cool to work with and are such an asset to any event. Their creativity, professionalism and ability to capture genuine moments is second to none.

Thank you both—we can't wait to share more of what you've created! ✨

🔥 The energy at Smart Active Solutions has been incredible lately!

Since our recent mid-year celebrations, there's been a real buzz around the studio. We've welcomed new trainers, launched our new group training memberships, and continue to grow with an amazing community of people all working towards becoming healthier, stronger versions of themselves.

Winter is flying by... blink and summer will be here! ☀️

If you've been thinking about getting started, this is your sign. Whether you're new to exercise, getting back into it after some time away, or looking for a supportive community that genuinely cares, we'd love to help.

At Smart Active Solutions, we believe everyone starts somewhere. There's no pressure, no mirrors, no intimidation—just qualified trainers, great people, and a plan that works for you.

We currently have more availability than we've had in a long time, so now is the perfect opportunity to jump in before the warmer months arrive.

If you've been following us for a while but haven't taken that first step, have a look through the articles on our website, check out what we're about, or simply send us a message. We'd love to chat and help you find the right place to start.

💚 Your future self will thank you.

✨ More than a gym. More than a workout. A community 💙

On 20 June, we swapped the gym floor for Dickens Inn and spent the evening celebrating the people who make Smart Active Solutions what it is. The laughs, the conversations, the awards, the pizzas, the beers and the countless smiles all reminded us why we love what we do.

Yes, we're passionate about helping people move better, get stronger and improve their health. But what we've built is so much bigger than exercise.

It's friendships. It's support. It's celebrating each other's wins. It's having people who genuinely want to see you succeed—both inside and outside the studio.

Congratulations again to all of our award winners and thank you to every member, partner, family member and friend who came along to celebrate with us. This community is something we're incredibly proud of.

A huge thank you to @dickens.inn for looking after us and to our photographer @bynimmy for capturing the night so perfectly & @wildivyfloralboutique for the amazing flowers for our award winners. We can't wait to do it all again at our End of Year Celebration! 🥂

Here's to another six months of showing up, supporting one another and having plenty of fun along the way 💙
