Congratulations to Dr. Ryan Rasmussen and Dr. Janelle Macintosh for being honored with BYU Experiential Learning Awards!

These awards recognize the impressive degree of mentorship that Dr. Rasmussen and Dr. Macintosh invest in their students, preparing them to be better nursing leaders wherever they go.

For Dr. Rasmussen, that meant bringing students to Italy and Slovenia, where they had the opportunity to observe healthcare professionals, improve their cultural awareness, and serve local communities.

For Dr. Macintosh, that meant bringing students to Moab, where they had the opportunity to provide dental care and education to elementary school students with limited access to local care.

Congratulations to Amy Boswell Usevitch on being inducted into the BYU Athletic Hall of Fame!

Being a BYU College of Nursing graduate is impressive enough—on top of that, Amy is one of the most accomplished defensive players and student-athletes in BYU women’s volleyball history. In addition to being a three-time All-American, she was recognized as an NCAA Woman of the Year Top 30 honoree in 2018.

We're lucky to have Amy among our ranks of incredible alumni!

Flu season is here, and so are flu shots!

September 21-23, all BYU students, faculty, staff, and their families can get their flu shot at the Wilkinson Center Garden Court. Stop by anytime between 7:30 a.m. to 5:20 p.m. set up an appointment online.

Flu shots are free with insurance or $30 without.
