Happy birthday to the man who made me a mom 23 years ago. It sucks not being with him on his birthday, but I am forever thankful for FaceTime and DoorDash. This mama has traditions that I won’t allow distance to destroy. I love you to infinity and beyond, Alex Cormier. I am proud of the man you are becoming and the passion you have for your craft. You make me laugh more than anyone else and I love our mom/ son relationship. Thank you for being the best gift I’ve ever received. I wish anyone who is afraid of pitties could spend even five minutes with this sweet boy. A mean dog is bred to be mean. They don’t just pop out that way. This buddy is sweet. He is snuggly. He does not have a mean bone in his body. He’s definitely not the brightest bulb in the box, but even his vet says he makes up for it in sweetness. The only thing he attacks is his food bowl and squeaky toys. His breed gets a bad rap. This is my attempt to bring awareness to the real personality of a pitty. If you ever see reels showing that they like blankets and snuggling and sleeping in the sun, it’s 100% true. He probably sleep 16 hours a day. We love our big lug. He’s our sweet Hoopie Doopie. ❤️💕🥰 by @c.m.cormier

Ok. I have to address this because soooo many people on social media are calling this a bogus red card, using the reasoning that it wasn’t intentional. The IFAB laws of the game are very clear. The ref’s job is NOT to determine intentionality. The ref’s job is to determine danger. If you look at the top image, Balogun caused the Bosnia player’s ankle to bend in an unnatural position. He could have broken the player’s ankle. Obviously it wasn’t intentional, but it was 💯 dangerous. I love Flo Balogun. He’s a wonderful player. But that doesn’t mean he didn’t deserve the red card. by @c.m.cormier

I would love everyone’s help showering Brian Cormier with well wishes as he heads back to work Thursday morning after 86 days of recovery. That’s just shy of three months of almost dying and putting in a whole lot of work to get better. We are talking massive lifestyle changes that he has embraced like a BOSS. He looks 10 years younger. He moves around better than he has in years. He follows a renal diet to the letter. He has made some major transformations. I am so proud of him and so excited to share in this next chapter of life with him. I wish I could be there when his coworkers see how much he has changed. They are going to be wowed. Never in my life did I ever think I would utter the words “I’ve been craving your pot pie for a week.” But my dear friend Mary Ann makes the BEST chicken pot pie we have ever eaten, and she made one for us today just because she was already making one for her husband. When God blesses you with friends like this, you thank him often for your blessings. Truth be known, the last 11 weeks would have been so much harder without our village. I know. I know. Y’all are thinking I haven’t bragged about my college graduate son lately. 🤣 Here’s one last shoutout from our big graduation weekend. Alex made us homemade fried chicken for dinner last night. And it was phenomenal!! Did everything himself from start to finish. And he cooked it in the air fryer!!! Brian Cormier and I both taught him to cook while he was growing up. Now as an adult, he is making it his own and making next level meals. We never taught him to fry anything and I have never made fried chicken this good. This was the perfect end to a wonderful family weekend. We are beyond proud of him and so thankful Brian was healthy enough to be there. We had sooo much to celebrate. He’s 22 and going places. by @c.m.cormier

I know it’s silly, but I love seeing my name on the TV when I stay at a Hilton Hotel. I also love it when they give me a free upgrade. The lady at the front desk said we were staying too many nights for the small room we had reserved. So she upgraded us to this huge suite with a living room, a bedroom and all the things. The celebrations just keep coming and I am extremely thankful. 🎊🍷🎂 by @c.m.cormier
