A project that's been in the works for a year. Evolving as I educate myself more on how the natural cycles of abundance interplay with one another. My first true earthworks project with an incredible group of volunteers. We turned around this often trashed and very weedy patch of land into something I'd consider an oasis. We will now capture the rainwater into this newly dugout #bioswale built for #rainwaterharvesting #permaculture and be able to plant a micro native edible plant garden within it. The little library is just a bonus and will help draw in the kids to stop and appreciate what's possible with our natural world.

New pantry is up ✨ Built from reclaimed odds and ends with some help from my dad (last photo) — free, loved, and full of miscellany whimsical craft.

The OG one was a Jack London street score that ran a solid 6 years before calling it. This one took about 18 hours across three days to piece together.
It was originally headed to a new garden plot, but that project's on pause — and this pantry collapsed.. so it found a home here instead.

There's something about handmade things that carry the maker with them. When that lands in a community space, it hits different, fuller.

If you've read this far, remember to say hi to a neighbor that you may not have said hello to before. We all go through times where having even the support of a kind gesture leans our day towards the better.

Looking back at another year around the sun, the biggest appreciations are community old and new, and the small daily rituals of life. Sedona has taught me of letting go with presence. It's time to show up for this next chapter, even when fear is present there can be enjoyment in the process. Those can be the most meaningful moments of life taken in Cathedral Rock Vortex by @c.pres

Who wants poison hemlock around anyway? Well kind of me since this is so much freaking fun. Although next time I'm going to sharpen my blade.

We can think differently about every piece of Earth we walk by, each presence saying "Hello". This is how we can sometimes say more than just Hello back, but also Thank You.

Magically the New Eden board was found in the little strip behind this one. Already named is a good sign. We hope it draws more pollinators as we plant native species next. Just feet away the native flowers in a well maintained (by community) traffic circle, all making an incredible pollinator pathway to @gravitygarden taken in Ivy Hill by @c.pres

I love the simplicity of working out so many muscles, while building balance and quickly building my heart rate.

I found a lovely platform to practice my standing cartwheel. Which began as a handstand practice until I realized how much fun it was to fall out of a handstand just to do it again the other way, or do a hamster-wheel continuation when you have the space 😁 I've still got a lot of work to do to make it perfect taken in Pescadero, California by @c.pres

The elder trees in Sausal Creek have never been happier as they are right now thanks to this great group of humans coming out and doing some restoration work on their Sunday! We removed bag-fulls of invasive ivy, did a whole lot of pruning, as well as some important trail maintenance. Such a blast!

I enjoy how this piece received more attention from the community in ways that weren't just tagging. The pro-Israel and anti-Gaza reaction happened many months ago, and since, other people stepped up to clean it up to reinforce the pro Palestinian-rights message, which was heartening and appreciated. They even reinforced my Expand Human Rights and Act As Nature messaging which was very lovely to receive. The ladybugs 🐞 have become my new symbol for cleaning the mess that covers our urban canvas, they will earn their own post. For now I'm glad to give this old piece of mine some love before the New Year.

Wow what an incredible flower arrangement event we just went to in Berkeley, included a sound bath meditation, varieties of tea blends, delicious edible arrangement dinner and such a variety of flowers, plants and vases. It was a feast for the senses - this night at once grounded you and sent you into high vibrations. Thank you @kimberleealston for the great event!! taken in Blue Willow Teaspot by @c.pres
