@c47creative was given the unique opportunity to translate interviews @victorjwebster conducted with Korean tattoo artists for the fourth and latest issue of Disintegration, the magazine produced by @afterlifepress, our friend @zacscheinbaum's publishing imprint. The timing could not be more fortuitous, as tattooing was only legalized in Korea exactly one year ago. We are extremely grateful to have participated in this project and hope that this issue exposes global readers to Korean perspectives that they cannot learn about via mainstream cultural exports. Conversely, we also hope that the issue helps Korean readers understand why global audiences have so much interest in Korea and what they're actually curious about.  Special thanks to @tammykimtattoo for connecting the dots and bringing us all together! Very grateful to once again handle creative direction for @aliwong, whose brilliant new special is out Tuesday. Thank you always for the opportunity, Ali! Thank you to Jamie and the Netflix team for your trust, partnership, and adaptability throughout this process. Thank you to the visionary @jomeopena (don't take my word for it; read Seven to Eternity) for this impeccable artwork and @neeraj.n.menon for holding us down heavy on colors. The results both of you were able to deliver against the clock are nothing short of astounding!!! Single Lady premieres next Tuesday, Oct 8 on Netflix by @c47creative
