💡Sternocleidomastoid Muscle💡

Or SCM, is a paired superficial muscle in the anterior portion of the neck.
It binds the skull to the sternum and clavicle🦴 and is connected to the vertical neurovascular bundle🫀 of the neck as well as the cervical plexus, deep cervical lymph nodes and soft tissues!

Guess what!!
▪︎ Tension in this muscle, mainly due to bad posture and stress, leads to neck pain, dysfunction and Headache!!
