POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

As we're finalising the cast for Burlesque Beneath the Stars 2026 here's a quick recap of our last show.

What started as a wild idea turned into something real Burlesque Beneath the Stars was never about velvet ropes or corporate rooms it was about creating burlesque in open air under the sky surrounded by nature connection and community

A show built on a family feel real support and a lot of love for this art form.

To be nominated for the Unmissable Event Award @cabaretcentral has genuinely blown us away especially knowing this began as nothing more than a thought and a lot of belief

Now it’s becoming an annual event and we couldn’t be more proud of what’s been built together under the stars.

Line up for 2026 coming soon!!

Huge thank you to spikey_satire for capturing the footage for us ♥️

I've been trying to think about what I wanted to say because thank you doesn't really feel enough.

When I first had the idea for Camp, it wasn't because I wanted to create another event. We already have so many brilliant events in our industry. I love them. They've given me friendships, opportunities and some of the best memories of my life.

But over the years I realised something.

As performers, we're nearly always 'on'. Introducing ourselves by our stage names, networking, talking about acts, bookings, costumes and the next project. I love that because we're all so passionate about what we do.

I just wondered what would happen if we created a space where all of that could exist... but where it didn't HAVE to.

Where you could still learn from incredible teachers, watch unique shows under the stars and meet amazing people, but the biggest thing you took home wasn't a new routine or booking... it was genuine friendships and some space to just be you, away from all the noise.

Looking around this weekend, I kept catching little moments that nobody else probably noticed. People sitting outside chatting for hours. Someone quietly encouraging another person before a class. Camp chairs pulled into circles. New friendships forming without anybody even realising it was happening.

That was Camp.

Of course the workshops were incredible. The shows were everything I'd hoped they'd be. Watching world-class performers in the middle of a field as the sun disappeared was genuinely indescribable.

But for me, the magic was always in everything happening around those moments.

The conversations. The laughter. The connections.

The feeling that, for one weekend, nobody had to prove anything.

You could just be YOU.

Thank you for trusting an idea that only existed in my head not that long ago. Thank you for embracing it exactly as I'd hoped, and for reminding me that sometimes the most important thing we can create isn't a show.

It's a space where people feel like they belong.

If that's how even one person felt this weekend, then every sleepless night, every wobble and every bit of hard work was worth it.

From the bottom of my heart... thank you. ❤️ taken in Spring Valley Campsite by @cabaretcamp

This isn’t a place where you’re pushed, polished, or pressured.

This is a space where you breathe.

Our Burlesque, Body Confidence and Bonding Camp isn’t about proving yourself. It’s about how it feels to be somewhere you’re allowed to exist fully and grow at your own pace, supported by professional facilitators and an inclusive, chosen family environment.

Set outdoors and away from the hustle, noise, and performance pressure, this is a space to reconnect with your body, your creativity, and yourself.

You come for the burlesque.
You leave feeling connected, grounded, and more yourself.

What if a performer weekend didn’t mean choosing between growing as a performer and actually having a break?

Cabaret Camp is both.

Learn from incredible people. Perform. Try something new. Make connections and leave feeling inspired.

But also… sleep in. Sit in the sunshine. Have a brew. Laugh until your face hurts. Make friends without having to network. Spend an afternoon doing absolutely nothing if that’s what you need.

There’s no right way to do Camp.

Come to elevate your craft. Come for a little escape. Come for both.

For one weekend, your time is completely yours.

Pull up a chair. You CAN sit with us. ❤️

The workshops are obviously a huge part of Cabaret Camp, but it’s never really just about learning a new skill.

It’s trying something you’ve never done before.
Being absolutely shit at something and laughing about it.

Realising you’re actually quite good at something you never expected.

Learning from and with brilliant performers you might never normally get the chance to work with.

No pressure to be perfect. No competing. Just a field full of performers having a go, learning from each other and spending a weekend doing the things we love.

Last nights show was just perfection

Burlesque Beneath the Stars was everything we hoped for. An intimate outdoor show, full of love, laughter and a crowd that made it feel so special.

It was one of those unique nights you don’t forget , where the vibe was perfect, the stars were shining, and yes… there was also a faint whiff of cow shit in the air. Wouldn’t have it any other way. 🖤

Thank you to everyone who made my little vision come to life! Every performer was utterly incredible and everyone behind the scenes just made it such a memorable night. Forever grateful ❤️

Burlesque belongs wherever we're brave enough to build a stage.

So we built a stage in the middle of a campsite, waited for the sun to set, and filled it with some of the most incredible performers around.

No theatre. No velvet curtains. Just open skies, fresh air and a show that felt completely different to anything I've experienced before.

I honestly don't know if there's another show quite like Burlesque Beneath the Stars, and that makes me ridiculously proud.

Here's a little glimpse of what we created. ❤️

CABARET CAMP TICKETS ON SALE NOW!

There’s something a little bit special about Camp.

For one weekend, we leave the stage personas at home and come together simply as ourselves.

We learn, perform, try new things, laugh a lot, make friends and enjoy being surrounded by people who love the same weird and wonderful world we do.

Cabaret Camp is for performers at every stage. It’s relaxed, welcoming and there’s no expectation to be anything other than yourself.

And because it all happens out in nature, it’s part performers’ weekend, part little holiday. A chance to switch off and relax as well as learn and perform.

After two wonderful years, we’re heading into year three with a new name and a new look, so keep an eye out for our new Cabaret Camp branding coming soon as well as your teachers, performers and weekend itinerary!!

2027 tickets are on sale now, with different ticket options and monthly instalment plans available.

https://bookwhen.com/thescarletsirens/e/ev-s54wn-20270827000000

And according to performer maths, if you learn something new AND get a holiday, the holiday is basically free.

Come for the performing. Stay for everything else. ❤️
