So amazing to see the Museum of Youth Culture open its new permanent home in Camden. It’s a great celebration of youth culture in all its glory.

Massive congrats to the team @museumofyouthculture for making this happen. You can really see all the hard work and care that has gone into this space. So much amazing work on display in there, make sure to go and check out the space!

Very thankful to have a couple of images from my Northern Now series up on the walls too 🥰🧡

Excited to see the space grow and become a real community hub! taken in Museum of Youth Culture by @cackers_

Very honoured to feature some of my Northern Now work in the new @fredperry zine in collaboration with @scottkingstudio.

A few images from the northern soul scene taken over the years are featured, along with some words I wrote to go with them, exploring the detail of talc within the scene.

Clubs shown in the images: The Dome all-dayer (2019), Wigan Young Souls (2023) & Rugby Soul Club (2023).

——

It is detail – and our preference for one detail over the next – which informs every choice that we make.

Copies are FREE to collect in person from Fred Perry shops worldwide, or with any order made online from fredperry.com.

Available from 14 May onwards, while stocks last.
