To my first born,
Gia,
Today you are 1 and its been the best year of my life.
You are the perfect gift i could have wished for. You change my life forever in ways you will never understand. You made me a Dad, i never knew what this would feel like until you came along. You gave my life a complete new purpose, a different way of thinking, a different way of living. You changed me for the best but not just me you changed everyone’s lives.
You are loved more than anything. This last year some days were hard, you was there smiling and laughing making everything better, i forget all my problems when you are around because you are the most important thing in my life so nothing else matters your cute little smile, talking, shouting and whatever else you do are the things that makes my world go round are what stops the real world and i live in yours. This way of thinking i have because i am your Dad cant be explained i cant physically put it to words, its a feeling so powerful and beautiful that cant be controlled that every time i come home and you are there all the problems of the world get left behind the front door.
Its crazy because your happiness is my happiness, your sadness is my sadness, when you get excited so do i. It’s like our emotions are connected and everything you feel i feel with you, for you because you are a part of me. It’s as if a part of my body has been ripped off and is now living in the world along side me.
1 whole year has flown by already it gone so fast its untrue. I remember the day you were born like it was yesterday. Your arrival lit up the world and everyone who came before you. You are learning and growing every single day from getting bigger to getting smarting. Watching every part of you grow is truly incredible, from your first smile and frown, to you taking your first baby steps holding our hands. You learning what different sounds animals make, especially your favourite two the lion and the moo cow.
With your little whisper roar and your loud shouting moo it all brings the biggest smile on my face and also my heart. by @caddai34
