Things I have learnt since having baby number 5:
1. Your kids love you no matter what. Even on days where you feel like you haven't given them enough attention because you are so busy with a newborn, they still love you.
2. Having home days and just chilling out is fine. It's ok for your kids to be 'bored' around the house, they will find new ways to keep themselves occupied and entertained.
3. Daily exercise is essential to keep your mind and body feeling fresh and ready to take on anything.
4. Good food and lots of water really does make you feel better.
5. Don't worry about being too organized. We will quite often jump in the car with all the kids and just drive. If we end up at the beach with no togs, towels and everything else we would normally pack, that is OK. Kids don't need all the bells and whistles, let them play, get dirty and have fun, driving home butt naked and covered in sand is totally OK in my book🤣
6. Love every minute. The good, the bad and the downright disgusting. Kids go through some weird phases, they do some crazy shit, they test your boundaries and they can push you to your limits, but it's all part of being a parent, and being a parent is an absolute blessing. It will be so hard some days and you may feel like giving up or that you are failing, but if in doubt refer back to point 1. You've totally got this💗 by @cadenshae
