honestly can’t recommend @cafe.jans enough!

📍Jan’s Gelato & Bakes, Menara Ken, TTDI

the quality of the food and desserts is superb and is a testament to owner Jan’s passion for her craft - you can taste that the food is made with a lot of love and care. I’ll definitely be back for brunch or a cheeky gelato run ☺️

other honorable mentions:
1. chicken & leek pie - tasty; your hearty, classic chicken pie
2. cinnamon roll - soft and not too sweet!
3. argentinian steak penne alfredo - flavourful and not overly creamy, the pine nuts added a nice crunch! the steak could be a little more tender though
4. mochiko waffle - they nailed the texture; crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside
5. orange americano - light and refreshing, love!

Before the warm cookie stole the spotlight, there was a warm chocolate cake with soft chocolate custard layers, paired with gelato of course. 🍫🤎

Have you discovered us yet? A little hidden gem in TTDI, if we may say so ourselves. 👀❤️. by @cafe.jans

Beef Cheek Ragu 🍝❤️

It started with a vision — a generous piece of tender, slow-braised beef cheek that falls apart at the touch of a spoon! , melting into a rich, comforting ragù pomodoro.

It took us a few tries to get it just right, but we got there. And when the team loves it as much as we do, you know we’re onto something. 🥹❤️ by @cafe.jans

Spotted an underrated hidden gem gelato spot in TTDI that serves the absolute HOLY GRAIL pistachio gelato 🍨 Their imported pistachio flavor is pure perfection, and their savory Macadamia Affogato is a total game changer 😮‍💨 From crispy waffles to a insanely smooth Banana Miso gelato, this place is an absolute 10/10. Save this for your next TTDI dessert run!

🌟 SAVE this gelato spot for your next hangout!

Located in Menara KEN TTDI, Jan's is known for artisanal gelatos and delightful cakes & pastries. It was founded by Janice, who also owns Petiteseirie by JS (which is located at Ara Damansara, PJ). 🥣

Ordered:
Macadamia Affogato 🍨⭐️ (RM18 + RM6)
The macadamia gelato itself was really nutty and tasted a little savoury; on the other hand, the espresso complemented it nicely!

Waffle & Pistachio Gelato 🧇 (RM24 + RM6)
Waffles were perfectly crispy! Although the pistachio flavour leaned on the lighter side, it's still a good flavour to pair with waffles.

Banana Miso Gelato 🍌⭐️ (RM14)
We understood why this is a favourite! Drizzled with caramel sauce, it had a prominent taste of bananas; however, the miso notes could have been be more pronounced.

Peach Sorbet 🍑 [vegan 🌱] (RM11)
A fruity and refreshing pick!

Onde-Onde Cake 🥥⭐️ (RM18)
Airy pandan chiffon layered by salted gula melaka, gula melaka cream, and shredded coconut. Surprisingly tasty, with a natural sweetness and the evenly distributed gula melaka throughout.

Espresso Burnt Cheesecake ☕️ (RM18)
Espresso cheesecake at the top, chocolate cake at the bottom. The cheesecake was moist and pleasantly creamy, while the chocolate layer was super rich - better to have it together with the cheesecake!

Banana Loaf Cake 🍰⭐ (RM12.50)
A warm, dense loaf cake containing chocolate bits. Although small in size, it's filled with deep banana flavour; so decadent!

Scone 🧈 (RM10)
A crumbly and buttery treat! 🍓

Discovered a really good spot for pastries, gelatos & all-day breakfast tucked in TTDI office building✨🥐

Not so much into cafes normally, but this one’s legit! Gelato & pastries are a must here. Their mentai salmon danish was sooooo good, as a savoury pastry girl, approved! Oh their chicken & leek pie was great too! 🥧

Overall a really solid spot, really well thought dishes. Even their waffles are mochiko waffles! It’s chewy, crisp sooo good paired with gelato 👌🏻
