POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Gave my first sermon as an activist and gave my personal testimony. Titled it “Faith it Until You Make It”. Tailored it as a call to action for increased civic engagement and cultivating a community that prioritizes Ubuntu. Truly humbled and honored that Dr. Michael Isaac gave me the opportunity to give my gifts back to the Lord in his pulpit, and charge our community to stay civically engaged and encourage the youth to step up. It is more important now than ever that we engage our community and sow seeds into the future that generations to come will reap. If you listen, let me know what you think. Feel free to share and watch for some encouragement or inspiration. We need to be the change we want to see in this world. I’m just the vessel, I had to be obedient to the Lord and how He chose to use me. I pray everyone begins to walk in their calling.

Only thing that kept me sane was exercising my mind, body, and soul. Did the most with the least, most can’t relate. Stayed in my own lane and stayed in school. Keep hating from the bleachers, chosen 1 fasho. GOD’S SON taken in Oxford University by @cailswash

From not believing I was qualified to apply to be a Rhodes Scholar, to presenting at Rhodes House in front some of the world’s most intellectually gifted individuals was truly humbling. Informing on the potential risks and rewards within the Artificial Intelligence space, I also shared my journey to Oxford and proved that diverse perspectives within STEM fields leads to effective co-collaboration across all disciplines for true success in this space. The Fourth Industrial Revolution is upon us, and human ingenuity is paramount and the key to helping those disproportionately left behind to capitalize in this new digital age. God doesn’t call the qualified, He qualifies the called. The limits of AI are truly reflective of the limits of its creators. In conclusion, the sky is truly the limit. Thank you. taken in Oxford University by @cailswash

Last week we hosted our third panel discussion in partnership with The World Reimagined, on the topic of AI in Education. We welcomed speakers Kelly Webb-Davies, Seth Washington and Suki Fuller and moderator Jovan Owusu-Nepaul.

Our brilliant panellists covered topics ranging from AI as the fourth industrial revolution, to data privacy concerns, to using AI as a tool to unlock gatekept educational spaces. They shared their experience and learnings from work and research in policy, intelligence, linguistics and beyond.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in person and online! It was a lively Q&A, followed by further discussions over drinks and canapes.

If you couldn't join us, you can find the link to the recording in our bio.
