holy hot shit was this show a goddamn blast and honor to be a part of! @chriees puts on one banger of a show and he works like a gd maven over there getting shows in all the states…get ur hawt little asses to one!

and this happy little mentally ill bitch feels v lucky to be able to share the chaos of life with such kickass friends ❤️‍🔥

TLDR: shoutout to the time i was running and got my leg ripped off. trash princess photoshoot with my best friend ⚡️🖤 @camilleredderthebetter

march 4th is the anniversary of me going for a run, getting hit by a car, said car ripping my leg off then speeding away, me on the road holding my detached foot, a buncha surgeries to re-attach it, a year not being able to stand, and a hawt $201,097.63 of medical debt 😮‍💨

thoughts i had at accident:
- i wish the car woulda just killed me
- i wish a bentley woulda hit me, not a honda civic
- damn, i wish that hot emt worker woulda given me his number, couldn’t he tell i was tryna flirt even while he was holding my detached foot?? kinda a cinderella story
- fuck
- i just lost everything

the trajectory of going from professional runner to being told by every doctor i’d never even walk again sucked ballllzzz.

i lost my first love (running), identity, my confidence, and any will to live. one day i woke up and realized i HAD to find something, ANYTHING, i liked or else i would hit the game over button for reals.

the next day i packed leo and me into a uhaul, moved, and figured i’d try “comedy.” (i didn’t even kno what that meant, just figured i’d ask someone lol)

today i look back at that version of myself and i feel sad for her but also really proud of her. she kept going and making really fucked jokes about the situation that she found funny.

i look at where i am today…doing comedy, producing shows i love, and running around the city with my best friend at midnight yapping about insane shit, dodging the puke and shit on the sidewalk, and doing “trash princess” side quest photo shoots.

i do love my life (even as a depressive lol). never thought i would and i have my best friend, leo, alberto, and @oldmollsballs to thank. and of course comedy.

life can be really fucked up sometimes, but i believe if u can find a way to keep laughing, u can keep going. even if it means u’re also a little insane ;)

ps- i can run now (a testament to ocd, being an unhinged workaholic, & stubbornness when people doubt i can do something)
