after graduating I've been having a bit of a break from sewing but I've been doing lots of crochet ! I made these two tops (one for me and one for my gf) using @lizardandhook patterns and they came out so nice! the patterns were easy to follow and I love the look of them! this was also my first time crocheting a garment so I'm pretty chuffed with them. I'm currently working on a third 🥰

▪️ belle cosplay ▪️

little bit of a throw back to this costume I made for a comic con in 2021, based off of Belle's village outfit in the live action beauty and the beast! I made most of it before I started the course at AUB so the techniques are less refined and more about me trying to make it a close replication of what you see on screen. it consists of two circle skirts, an apron, a little chemise and a bodice that poppers up the side, with the visible lacing being purely for decoration. I hand painted the fabric of the bodice and hand sewed the eyelets.

for my last term, I've been working on an 1890's style costume for @aubactors masque macabre ! I've been making for the character of Jean, designed by @y4zartistry and I've loved developing my tailoring skills.

the costume comprises of a pair trousers, a waistcoat, a shirt, a cravat and a double breasted frock coat !
