Wow where has the time gone? Multiple months, multiple (to say the least) cocktails, and lots of events. This was a delicious spin off a Negroni (by ingredient, not necessarily flavor), called the Jasmine. Campari base.

2 oz Gin
1 oz Curaçao (but who actually had that? So we used Cointreau)
3/4 oz lemon juice
1/2 oz Campari

Shake it up. Put that ish in a coup and you’re done.

Toasting to @zachcobb_ with a pet nat from @meinklang_farm. It’s light, mineral-y, and the small bubbles make any drink celebratory. You might be asking “why are we toasting Zach?”. To which I answer- this handsome man just tuned in his last assignment of his MBA degree. Two years of projects, classes, field trips, case studies, exams, commuting to campus, interviews…and he is finally done. Swipe for various date night selfies. It’s Citrus-Winter, and I have a tangerine tree in my front yard. So here we go. Tangerine & Tequila. 2oz tangerine juice, freshly squeezed (which means about 10 tangerines….), juice of one lime, 2 oz Tequila. Get the good stuff. #happyhour #inmyhand taken in Los Angeles, California by @caitsnyd

For one drink:
* 1.5 oz whiskey or bourbon
* 3/4 oz lemon
* 3/4 oz cranberry apple simple syrup*
* 1 rosemary sprig
* 1 egg white

Combine all ingredient in a cocktail shaker.
Dry shake for at least 30 seconds, until you get nice froth. Add ice and shake some more until drink is cold.
Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with cranberries and a sprig of rosemary.

To make the cranberry apple simple syrup: Boil 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup water, 1 cup cranberries, 2 apples (sliced), 1 cinnamon stick, 2 cloves, 1 star anise in a pot. Let it simmer for a few minutes, then cool and strain. #happyhour #holidaycocktails taken in Los Angeles, California by @caitsnyd

Visited @soft_spirits and ended up taking home a handful of za beverages. Including this wine from @nullwines . This one was I referring because it was made like a wine, and then the alcohol was removed afterwards. (Different from other “wines” that are vinegar or tea bases). It was crisp, and refreshing- but tasted exactly how a wine with the alcohol removed would. It was very light (no body since zero alcohol), and felt like a very fancy apple-grape juice. I am have sewing a lot this summer. Mostly because I am obsessed and have to use my hands everyday. I even decided to pick up some crocheting (after yearrrrsssss) so I can still create while not at my sewing machine. When you find @grimmales cans on the west coast- you promptly buy them all. Thank you @wineandeggsshop for stocking these. This Pils was delightful. Refreshing, crisp.
