At Cake4Kids, our incredible volunteer bakers create custom celebration cakes for children. Every cake is made with a child in mind, inspired by their favorite things or thoughtfully designed specifically for younger interests. The goal is always the same: to make that child feel special.

But once a year, at our annual Benefit, we give a few of our talented bakers a different kind of assignment. These cakes are for the cake lovers, the flavor chasers, the texture enthusiasts and those who appreciate just how extraordinary cake can be.

Let’s feast our eyes on Cake Bonanza 2026!

A maple cake with an apple filling. The cake is frosted in vanilla buttercream and decorated using fondant. The small pumpkins are giant cake pops made out of the same ingredients as the large cake. The hat has Rice Krispies and the decorative hay is made out of candied kadayif. Baked by Gretel.

A bold, beautifully balanced cake that brings together nutty black sesame, bright tropical mango and passion fruit, and rich tahini-flavored American buttercream. Finished with a delicate sesame brittle for an irresistible crunch, this cake is a celebration of flavor, texture and creativity. Baked by JennyAnn.

This dark chocolate cake is infused with subtle notes of coffee and aged bourbon. The decadent cake is balanced by alternating fillings of raspberry and chocolate Swiss meringue buttercream. The cake features intricate accents in buttercream and tinted modeling chocolate, all illuminated by delicate touches of edible gold. Baked by Kathy.

A delicious whimsical woodland-themed tree-trunk chocolate cake, filled and frosted with rich Guinness mocha buttercream. The cake is decorated with charming woodland creatures, edible moss, delicate flowers, colorful toadstools, graceful butterflies, and handcrafted wafer-paper autumn leaves. Baked by Tammy.

An elegant oval vanilla cake finished in silky Swiss meringue buttercream, adorned with vintage-inspired ivory piping and delicate bow details. A hand-piped bouquet of crimson and ivory buttercream roses takes center stage, accented with soft green foliage and a petite chocolate-toned bow. Baked by Jen. by @cake4kids

We’ve partnered with this agency for more than 10 years, building a relationship rooted in trust and a shared commitment to supporting children. Recently, a social worker reached out with a special request. She had just begun working with a new teen client whose birthday was only seven days away. Could we make it happen in time?

Our staff jumped into action, and our amazing volunteers came through. Together, they made sure this teenager would have a birthday cake made just for him.

Why did it matter so much? The social worker explained that this was her only teen client, and she saw his birthday as an opportunity to begin building their relationship in a positive, meaningful way.

Sometimes, a cake is so much more than cake. It can open a door, create a connection and help a child feel that someone cares.

That’s a little bit of magic we’re proud to be part of. by @cake4kids

Today is World Homeless Day, a day created to bring awareness to homelessness and the many children and families experiencing it in our communities across the country.

Many of the children we serve are experiencing homelessness or housing instability. We hope for a future where every child has a safe and stable place to call home, and where no family has to experience homelessness.

Until then, we’ll continue to show up with compassion, kindness and a celebration cake.

Because even when a family is facing uncertainty, a child still deserves to feel remembered, celebrated and cared for. by @cake4kids
