Great time this weekend at the Wake Forest Basketball Alumni event. Enjoyed watching the football game, the current basketball team practice and playing in the Alumni Golf Tournament. I met a Wake Forest alumni student while at the alumni dinner and he shared with me that he has my Wake Forest jersey up in his basement. I didn’t believe him so he had his wife send a picture and sure enough he did. Thankful for seeing some of my teammates Robert Siler and Antonio Johnson along with team manager Pete Carlson. Coach Forbes and his staff were very welcoming and we hope as alumni we can mentor his current players. GO DEACS!! taken in Wake Forest University by @calboyd

This is my Shooting program that I have been working on for sometime. With the help of mu good friend Justin
McTeer we are launching this one of kind Shooting Program. As a player you will learn very specific instructions on how to shoot the basketball with video explaining each drill. There are several shooting drills but the main one is called THE 200! It is 20 thoughts on the proper technique of shooting the basketball 10 shots at a time. There is also a coaches corner where as a coach you can keep track of your entire team and their progress. You are going to love it. What an amazing weekend celebrating True and Coleman and their beautiful wedding! At Seaside, with all their special people, it had True and Coleman written all over it. It’s our ANNIVERSARY!! July 10th 1993! 33 years of marriage but over 40 plus years together! I am very thankful for my wife Kristi and the life that we have built! She is the rock of our family! Kristi has balanced being a wonderful mother while building a wonderful career at Coca Cola for almost 30 years! Each of our children have found their person and we are blessed to have Kaitlin, Trey and True added to our growing family. Cam, Kaylann and Coleman have grown into terrific young spiritual leaders and we couldn’t be more proud of all of them! Year 40 of doing my Basketball camp! Started in 1986 the summer of my freshman year at Wake Forest doing a camp with my brother David. We called it BOYD BROTHERS camp! I have done camps all over the world from China to Belgium to several places in the United States. I love pouring into the next generation. We had a great week of camp this week. I appreciate all my players and coaches who were counselors. We shared some great stories about living an extraordinary life and how each one of us has greatness inside of us that God has put inside of us. We learned about the game of basketball, we competed and had fun!
