The premiere of “An Act of Penance.” Was this in March? Yes. I’m terrible about posting. But man oh man am I so proud of this film and all the (fake) blood, sweat, and tears that got this project over the finish line. To see this on the big screen in New York City with an audience of family and friends has got to be the highlight of all highlights of my five (!!) years in the city. This film is a testament to pushing through, believing in something even if it doesn’t make sense or feels financially crazy. I knew I needed to make this and if given another chance to go back in time, I’d do it again. I could write a book on the things I learned in the process and I’m immensely grateful @lbetheredge and @rachiegiff said yes to my out-of-the-blue pitch to them to produce this thing. Much more to come. I’m so behind on the updates…

Thank you @paoloethugo for these photos. Thank you @thechloewilliams for moderating the Q&A.

Thank you @anactofpenancefilm cast, crew, donors, friends, family. Here’s to the fools who dream. taken in Anthology Film Archives by @calebclarke

@orein_arts residency at Mt. Saviour monastery last week made me come alive, surrounded by nature and beautiful souls and reminded yet again of the love of God.

“He stood me up on a wide-open field;
I stood there saved—surprised to be loved!” Psalm 18

Thank you to all the brothers, Eve, my newfound Orein family, and my wise friend Henri Nouwen. taken in Mount Saviour Monastery by @calebclarke

Jason Fujikuni — an artist after God’s own heart, and he’s one of the sweetest humans. Originally worked on this with @joshuajdunn last fall for the @creative.nyc conference. Last night, Jason made his solo exhibition debut featuring illustrative pieces commissioned by @church.nyc. by @calebclarke
