My outfit for the Pinup Parade the "poison apple" from Snow White with @pinupgirlclothing at Disneyland! This is usually the only time I will #disneybound during the year for the #disneybounding contest. Even with the rain i was so happy to be able to attend. I'm so grateful to be able to attend events, something i took for granted in the past. Great to see so many friends I'll be submitting my entry for the contest on #instagram later tonight but wanted to at least post something from our rainy adventure! Thanks to all the wonderful people who have been there for me over the last year love you all. #pinupgirlclothing #disneycastle #Disneyland #pug #pinupparade #pinupgirl @pinupgirlclothing lana dress #pugdisneybound #pinupparadeinthepark #pugdisneybound2016 #snowwhite #snowwhitepoisonapple #poisonapple #poisonappleskirt #retro @pinupgirlboutique #pinupgirl #pinupsofinstagram by @californiakiley

Last month @sisi.the.schnitzel was lucky enough to run in her 4th and final @wienerschnitzel wiener nationals. 4 years ago we were selected and even privileged to return for the last 4 years.
This year as Sisi's health declined we weren't sure if she'd make it out to the track at 15 years of age to be once again Senior ambassadog (oldest dog in the race) but she rallied like a true 2000s girly (we show up!) for her retirement race! And while we weren't the fastest wiener in the west the love that everyone showed us truly had me in tears so many times I have more photos that I'm going to share it took me some time since Sisi went thru a lot of health scares after the race. But she is doing better and watching her weight in food, taking her senior strolls sometimes twice a day!
I can never thank @losalracing enough for the memories we've been given over these 4 years and while due to her eye sight and health issues she is forced to retire from the racing world and yes I know she wasn't a racing star and she wasn't the fastest it truly makes me sad to leave this world behind because we love the people we have meet because of this amazing event.
So I believe the amazing world words of Lou Gehrig say it best;
"So I close in saying that I might have been given a bad break, but I’ve got an awful lot to live for. Thank you."

His speech was given July 4, 1939 and the photo was taken with the July 4 decorations I guess retirement is a red white and blue affair...

Since the 4th of July isn't dog friendly we hide Sisi away even though I'm her old age she's become pretty mellow outside of the really loud fireworks.
I was lucky enough to go see the Disneyland fireworks the next day and hang with some of my favorite people and get to wear my vintage square dancing skirt I found randomly last year.
It's been challenging lately so I got behind on posting.

@ladolcevitabevhills was a vintage lovers dream the place is a time capsule! Ventured to Beverly Hills to eat in this restaurant that was a hot spot for Frank Sinatra.
The dress is a unique vintage dress that I've had but never worn. But the shoes and bag are perfect with it so I love a good complete outfit.

So grateful we made it to another Pups in the Park with @sisi.the.schnitzel at 15 years old I'm grateful for more fun times with my girl.

I made the headdress for the occasion and funny enough I had 2 different girls try to buy it off my head in the bathroom! Definitely a strange but nice comment lol. taken in Dodger Stadium by @californiakiley
