It’s been a while and alot of new people are here. Hi I’m Callie (or Cali)

I’ve always been jealous of people who can sum themselves up in just a few sentences. I’ve never quite figured out how to do that. I sing. I write songs. I love blue things. I cry when I can’t help a homeless animal on the side of the road. I’m married to my favorite person, @gabenealprod and together we’re raising our daughter, Ellie, who already runs the house.

I’ve spent years trying a little bit of everything, and these days I’m happiest being Ellie’s mom while continuing to grow as an artist.

Most of the things I care about eventually find their way into a song and I think I’ve been doing this since I was old enough to talk.

History of Us” is officially up for consideration for a Grammy nomination. I am so proud of this song and excited to share it with more of my industry peers 🥰

Now, some people might think it’s unrealistic to pursue a Grammy nomination as an indie artist, especially when you look at the incredible artists and records being considered alongside yours. But I’ve never believed in making my goals smaller simply because the odds are against me.

You have to start somewhere, and I think it’s important to put your work forward even when the outcome is uncertain. Regardless of what happens, I’m grateful for the opportunity to share it with more of the professionals and peers in an industry I love so much.

I’m also very proud to be a member of the @grammys and to have the opportunity to listen to, support, and celebrate the work of my fellow artists throughout this process.

So here’s to a fun few months of FYC season! 🤍 and remember, don’t make your dreams smaller just because they feel unlikely. Sometimes you have to be willing to aim for the thing that feels a little out of reach to make big things happen!

I vividly remember the moment something shifted in Caryn. She stepped into a version of herself she had always dreamed of becoming, and she wore it so naturally that none of us realized just how much her life was about to change.

If you know Caryn, you know there isn’t a challenge, obstacle, or expectation in the world that can keep her from becoming exactly who she’s meant to be.
