There’s a story behind so many of the details at Ettan. Indigo runs throughout as a nod to its history and tradition in India, alongside contemporary Indian art, and hanging greenery.

The intricate woodwork and open two story layout bring a touch of an Indian palace courtyard, with a mezzanine overlooking the dining room below. Above it, a one of a kind glass dome fills both levels with natural light.

The same thoughtfulness carries through to the menu, where Indian flavors meet the ingredients and seasons of California.

From working at Taj at Campton to creating our own restaurant group, each with distinct concepts, we are proud to be a voice and proponent of the cuisines of India. Each of our restaurants are inspired and driven by different regions and cooking styles across India while also blending @chefsri_g time spent in the Bay area.
Our food would be remiss without mentioning the design of each restaurant by @ayesha_kj_thapar giving each space a unique character and home. We’re thankful to be a third place for our community and are looking forward to hosting you.

Our @calindiacollective founders @ayesha_kj_thapar @chefsri_g began their collaboration and journey together with @ettanrestaurant in 2020. Since then we've opened @coprarestaurant and last year @eylanrestaurant.
Our concepts are grounded in an authentic Indian pedigree informed by California’s reverence for seasonality and exceptional local ingredients, and distinct aesthetics to give each space a unique experience.
