Thank you to @capehenrynexus for providing this incredible opportunity to travel to Belize for one of my favorite classes, Tropical Ecology Field Research (TEFR). Not only was I able to learn and grow through this experience, but I was also given the chance to share the gift of basketball.

Basketball is more than just a sport, it creates opportunities, teaches valuable life lessons, and brings people together. I was blessed to witness the excitement and joy on the faces of the kids as they learned to dribble and practice new drills, even without a lot of room to dribble.

Seeing their smiles meant the world to me and reminded me that basketball truly is more than just a game. I hope the students at Cristo De Rey Primary School enjoy basketball as much as I have and continue to find joy through the amazing sport.

One day I hope to travel the world and bring more smiles to people, even if it’s not through basketball!

@shedeursanders after his record breaking game of 438 passing yards and 5 passing TD he was kind enough to sign my jersey. I can’t wait to see what he does in the NFL! by @calirivera_4
