GERMAN MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMP 🏆

First time competing at the German Nationals in Freestyle Calisthenics and I'm very happy to won first place in the middleweight category out of 18 athletes.
Big respect to all participants! ❤️‍🔥

Improve your straight-arm press immediately 🤸‍♂️

3 things to work on + 2 tips that can make a big difference:

01 — Flexibility & Compression
Dynamic stretching + compression work
→ Build the mobility and active strength you need for the press.

02 — Mini Jumps
Press in → come back → repeat
→ Get comfortable with the movement while building control.

03 — Negatives
Handstand → slowly lower through the press
→ Focus on control and keeping your arms straight.

BONUS — Lean Forward
Don’t be afraid to shift your weight forward.
Get your shoulders over your hands and create enough leverage to press.

BONUS — Pancake
Work on your pancake flexibility to make the straddle position more accessible.

Meet our Challenge Judge — @fitmitpit_ ! 🔥

Pit is a specialist and experienced athlete in Weighted Calisthenics.

Competing in the up to 87 kg weight class, Pit has proven his maximal strength across Muscle-Up, Pull-Up, Dip, and Squat. At the German Championships, he achieved an impressive total of 350 kg, putting him among the top athletes in his weight class. 💪
