Such a fun fall break! 🍂

District XC! Jax has been battling a pesky back injury, but he pushed through for his team, and they qualified for Regionals! So proud of those boys!

We met up with family at the State Fair to celebrate our niece’s 10th birthday and had all the best fair foods we could find 🤤
Hung out with Ledawn, Josh, and the girls. We miss them so much! ❤️

Finished the week watching Gid play football! It’s been such a sweet season with him. He’s loving homeschool, and one of the perks of living in the metroplex is having so many opportunities for sports! HSAA has been such a great program for him. He scored a touchdown this week and had some awesome catches and tackles, too!

Such a fun 24 hours!🌶️🏃‍♂️

We grabbed our gran girls while they’re on fall break and headed to Arkansas for Jax’s race at the Chili Pepper Invitational.

Fun fact: Gryffon’s bio mom is from India, so any chance we get to eat authentic Indian food, we do! The girls had never had it before, so it was fun getting to introduce them to it. ❤️

Today we ate at Hugo’s…another super fun spot! There was a line when we got there, and within 15 minutes the restaurant was completely full. Wild!

And Jax competed SO well today! He finished 7th out of 655 runners AND ran a new PR! 👏🏻 So proud of him and the way he continues to put in the work.

A wild weekend! 🤍

Headed to College Station to watch Jax run in the Nike South Invitational 🏃‍♂️ Bos met us there, and goodness, we have missed him!

We found the house my parents brought me home from the hospital to…and my dad built that porch. 🥹🤍

Walked the A&M campus, Banana Balled with cousins🍌⚾️, and then headed home just in time to celebrate Crosspoint’s 11th anniversary with a Tacky Prom! 😂🪩 by @calliegreen13

Happy 17th birthday, Jaxson! 🤍

This season has been wild, but in true form of who you are, you’ve been steady.

I’m so proud of you! You joined a new XC team and have already stepped up to help lead. You’re running 45 miles a week, rocking that 6A school life, and making excellent grades in some really hard classes. You’re student leading in youth, serving in kids ministry, and somehow, in your spare time, you and your dad have watched 23 Marvel movies over the last few months so you’re fully prepared for whatever is coming next. 😂

I love you. I’m proud of you. Keep doing the things. Keep working hard. Keep leading well. Keep being steady.

And most of all, keep pursuing Jesus. He’s the way. Always.

Such a sweet night. So thankful for the Sparrow’s Nest! I love this ministry and all that it stands for and provides. It truly is a 24/7 ministry…so much of the work happens behind the scenes, unseen and unrecognized. So grateful for the people who faithfully show up and love these moms and babies so well. 🤍 by @calliegreen13

Happy birthday to my favorite person. 🤍

I’m just really thankful I get to do life with you. Through every season, every change, all the good and all the hard…you’re still the one I want beside me.

I love the life Gods given us, the family we’ve raised, and the way you love Jesus and people so well.

It matters who you marry.

I think I’ve understood that more this year than ever before.

Happy Birthday to my Dad…the man my mom chose to build a life with, raise a family with, and love through all the ordinary and extraordinary years.

Watching him walk through the deepest grief of losing her has made me even more grateful for the man he is. He is steady. He keeps showing up. He keeps loving his people. He keeps putting one foot in front of the other, even when I know some days that has to feel impossibly hard.

He’s gone back to work. He’s building a bunkhouse for all the girls. He is serving in his church, discipling others. He keeps grandkids when we need him, stepping into the spaces Mom would have filled without a second thought. He keeps making room for all of us.

There is something incredibly tender about watching him carry on pieces of the life they built together. ❤️

My mom chose well.

And because she did, my sisters and I were given a dad who showed us what steady love looks like, our kids were given a Papoom who shows up, and even after losing her, we still have this beautiful family they spent a lifetime building.

It really does matter who you marry.

Happy Birthday, Dad. I know this isn’t the birthday you would have chosen, and I know there is someone missing from it who should be right beside you. But I hope you know how deeply loved you are and how thankful we are for you.

When we left Snyder, our sweet church family gifted us a weekend away in Dallas as a going-away gift…complete with a stay and some REALLY good eats. 🤍

After a big season of transition, it was such a gift to get away together, slow down, eat way too much good food 😂, and just enjoy each other.

We spent almost seven years doing ministry alongside some of the very best people, and we’ll never take for granted how well they loved our family…not just while we were there, but even in the way they sent us out.

Feeling very loved, very grateful, and very full. 🥹🤍

Today was Mom’s birthday. 🤍

We celebrated her the way she would have loved…by simply being together and enjoying something she always loved… crepes.

We shared sweet stories, laughed, cried a little, and rested. We miss her deeply, but we’re so grateful for the hope we have in Christ and for the beautiful legacy she left behind.

Happy Birthday, Mom. We love you, and we’ll keep choosing joy, just like you taught us. 🤍 by @calliegreen13
