Actually getting dressed each day is by far the best thing that I’ve done for my mental health postpartum. It’s allowing myself to reclaim my style, have something just for me and to feel a bit more myself on the days where I struggle to see that person in the mirror. One year ago today, I stood over our bathroom sink looking at four positive pregnancy tests. I was in complete disbelief, still carrying the weight of a chemical pregnancy from six months prior. Just one week later, our hearts broke all over again-we truly believed this pregnancy was going to be another loss. I can still vividly recall having @nicolewinters scan me in her office, watching her face as she tried to find anything other than what looked like an empty sac. But after three HCG blood draws, it was confirmed: a viable pregnancy. Looking at her now, one year later, life has been so much sweeter since. 🤍 by @calliewheeland
