It’s been awhile since I have come on and introduced myself. I’m a mom to three and a military spouse (go Navy!) who recently relocated to Jacksonville from Maryland. Three years ago, I was in the thick of a pandemic with a new baby and a toddler. I was in search of a newborn photographer, but restrictions made that impossible, so I took it upon myself to try and capture photos to remember those bleary-eyed first few weeks. My eldest daughter has special needs, making it difficult to bite the bullet and pay for a family session. I wasn’t worried about the quality of the work of my fellow photographers, but I was worried about how she would engage during the sessions that we were paying for. Would she look at the camera? Would she even smile? In that moment, I decided to really immerse myself in my craft and create what is now Callie Wheeland Photography. I have a passion for people and love the art of detail. I'm excited to meet your families and capture moments you will remember forever. As we enter 2024, I have exciting things coming your way, including inclusion sessions. These are truly what my heart beats for—meeting you exactly where you are, with patience, and without fear of how the session will pan out. I can't wait to get you booked this fall ✨

Its safe to say yesterday was the best birthday i could have asked for, i am one really really lucky chick to be able to call these clowns my dearest friends.
