Saturday Night, the Firehouse9000 was All Fired Up!🤘🔥

The Mrs. and I hosted some friends for a Saturday Night fire in the backyard. The company was great, the food was plentiful, the weather was amazing and the drinks were tasty! 🍻🥃🍷

I prepped up some Filipino BBQ Pork Skewers to cook over the live fire 🔥. These were marinated in a Filipino BBQ Marinade all day and were a blast to cook. What an memorable evening!💥

This HAS to happen again! Hope to host some of my local Manitoba BBQ friends for a cook & collaboration this summer.

Who wants an invite?

It can be this good again! Maybe Better! 🤘🔥

Thanksgiving Weekend 2023 🇨🇦 That’s a Rack!🤘🔥

I did a little something different this year for Thanksgiving. I smoked some back ribs (hot and fast) with @kingsford charcoal on my @webergrillsca Smokey Mountain Cooker using some of my handcrafted rubs. My base layer was SPG, then I doctored them up with some Hot For The Innocent BBQ Rub, some Dirty Rubbin’ Pork Rub and a top layer of my Rocket Ride Coffee Rub. This was a first for me using Coffee Rub on ribs. But it won’t be my last! Look at that colour 👀 🔥

These ribs were ‘next level’! 🤘🔥

I hope everyone celebrating Canadian Thanksgiving this weekend was able to spend quality time with friends and family, gave thanks and made memories. Our party of 5 was all able to sit down to this Thanksgiving Feast as we were blessed to have our oldest son come home from University to celebrate with us. ❤️

Striploin Saturday! 🤘🔥

Collab’d with the Mrs. @reallifenutrition.rd on this one. Saturday Night done right … Striploin & Chimichurri! 💥

Seasoned with SPG, pan seared, finished in the oven and topped with homemade Chimichurri! The was so GOOD!

Contributors to The Madness:
🥩 - just found it vacuumed sealed in the bottom of the deep freezer! 🤷‍♂️ Yep - seriously! Thankfully it was labelled and the date was from the summer, oh … and it wasn’t freezer burnt! 👍

Cherry & Bourbon Barrel Smoked Handcrafted Dry Brined Mango Bourbon Infused Turkey and all the fixings for our Family Boxing Day gathering! 🤘🔥

Upon arrival, there was only one rule … loosen your belt a knotch or two and enjoy yourself! 🥃💥

Usually my Pops-In-Law is ALWAYS in charge of the Big Bird and hosting the big Holiday Feast … but this year The Mrs.’ @reallifenutrition.rd and I stepped in and took the torch. I think we might have the honour of hosting again next year, based on the results??
