One year ago, I picked up a rope.

I didn’t know the patterns.
I didn’t know the names.
I didn’t know that one simple practice would become such a huge part of my life.

I just moved.

And somehow, that was enough to begin.

One year of rope flow. 🪢🤍 by @callmecerise

The flow looks effortless. The training wasn’t.

Behind every smooth movement are hours of repetition, awkward attempts, corrections, patience, and showing up even when the body didn’t quite understand yet.

I’m learning that finesse isn’t about making things easy—it’s about making the hard work look natural.

Still training. Still refining. Still listening to my body.

The goal isn’t to force the flow.
It’s to become so connected with it that the movement speaks for itself. 🪢✨ by @callmecerise

What happens when repetition becomes a playground? 🪢

Repeating familiar patterns, experimenting with transitions, and learning to move with the rope rather than against it.

1 kg heavy rope. Same practice, endless possibilities.✨

Repeating familiar movements.
Experimenting with constraints.
Gradually developing my own movement vocabulary.

Same patterns, different possibilities. Always exploring. 🪢 by @callmecerise

Missing my strong yoga sisters. 🧘🏻‍♀️🤍

Power Yoga, shared strength, and the kind of energy you can’t replicate alone.

At first, I was thinking about everything.

Where does the rope go?
Where do my hands go?
What’s the next pattern?
Am I doing this right?

A year later, I think less.

I feel more.

That’s probably one of the biggest things rope flow taught me.

October 2025.

I didn’t know this was rope flow.

I had a weighted jump rope, tied both ends together to make a makeshift handle, and I would spend hours just moving with it.

No tutorials.
No patterns to memorize.
No idea what I was actually doing.

I just enjoyed it.

Looking back now, I can see the early version of everything I would eventually learn—weight shifting, rotation, rhythm, momentum, transitions.

The technique came later.

The love for movement was already there.

One year later, I know the name for it.

Rope flow. 🪢✨🌀 taken in Daily Fitness GYM by @callmecerise

MOVEMENT JOURNAL ✨

First Rocket Yoga with Teacher Sheila.
75 minutes of intense movement, strength, balance, inversions, and sweat.

The mat is the evidence. 😂

So happy I showed up.
Definitely one for the movement journal. 🤍 taken in DIWA Yoga Space by @callmecerise
