Today, CalOptima Health recognizes Mammography Day as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Early detection continues to be one of the most effective tools in the fight against breast cancer. ⁣

As part of our ongoing efforts to improve quality measures, CalOptima Health is partnering with @kpchealth and @alineamedical to bring mobile mammogram services directly to our members in the community. hosted by the California Quality Collaborative (CQC).

The inaugural event was designed to bring together influential health care stakeholders and discuss the state’s health care system: integrating behavioral health into primary care.

We’re excited to announce that CalOptima Health’s Housing and Homelessness Incentive Program (HHIP) Round 7 Notice of Funding Opportunity is now open.

This round supports projects addressing homelessness in Orange County.

Key dates:
- Application window: Now through November 13, 2026 (5 p.m. PST)
- Bidder’s conference: October 13, 2026, at 2 p.m. PST
- Grant awards announced: February 5, 2027
- Grant start date: March 1, 2027

Funding priorities:
- Equity grants: Up to $100,000 (total pool: $300,000)
- Capital grants: Up to $5 million (total pool: $27.9 million)
- Systems‑change projects: $500,000–$1.5 million (total pool: $2.5 million)

The CalOptima Health Board of Directors recently approved $8 million in grants to nine community organizations to strengthen housing and homelessness services for its members across Orange County. The funding will support a range of projects from building housing units to creating programs that improve housing navigation. The following organizations received funding: @national_core, @olive.crest, @afhusa, @cityofsantaana, @actionalliancefoundation, Hub for Integration, @hireoc, @kcshealthcenter, @my.safe.harbor, @thecambodianfamily.
