“Serving as Vice President Education this year has been the experience of a lifetime. Not only has my time in this role made me a better leader, but also a better person. Every day I learn how to lead with compassion and how to support my community and my sisters. Being part of our exec board has also given me so much happiness; working alongside such wonderful people inspires me every day to be the best version of myself. I have absolutely loved giving back to the chapter which has given me so much. Every day Theta brightens my life, and I’m so excited to continue growing in this chapter!

Exec spotlight with our VP Panhellenic, Arden Sur!

“I have absolutely LOVED being Vice President Panhellenic this year! It has given me the opportunity to get to know so many different people in each chapter and see how our differences make panhellenic stronger. Being able to serve on ERB has taught me how to balance both listening to others and leading large groups. I have loved nothing more than getting to be a part of an executive board, where getting closer to my sisters and hearing from multiple perspectives has broadened my understanding of leadership. I hope to use all I have learned to continue becoming a stronger leader, and I owe it all to this chapter and these people!”

New Member Monday with the lovely @daniibreyess 🤍

Hii! I’m Daniela, from Salinas, CA, and I’m a statistics major! Going into recruitment, I really wanted to find people who would make college feel a little more like home and who I could genuinely connect with. I chose Theta because the more I got to know everyone, the more I realized how welcoming, genuine, and fun the girls were. I’ve already met the sweetest & funniest girls and made so many fun memories! I’m so grateful to be a part of Theta and love that I can be myself, feel supported, and always have people to turn to. Theta loves CASA ❤️…

…and for such an important reason. Today, an overwhelming 63% of the Zeta Theta chapter wears red. This represents the children that remain in need of a Court Appointed Special Advocate (also known as a CASA) volunteer, someone that is a constant figure in their life as they navigate the foster system. These volunteers remain with them through the hard times, but also the good, forming lifelong connections and establishing a framework for the true ability of a child to go from surviving to thriving. We are so grateful that our philanthropy is so local, with many of our fundraising efforts going directly to support @slocasa. by @calpolytheta
