The long awaited Fall Recruitment 2025 Look Book is here! As you prepare for recruitment, we want you to know that the most important thing you can wear is your confidence. This look book is here to offer inspo and help you get a feel for the week. There’s no one “right” way to dress. Above all, we want you to wear what makes you feel most comfortable, confident, and like your true self. Whether that’s a dress and heels or jeans and sneakers, your comfort matters more than any outfit 💖

This past week our lovely Aurora Thompson was selected to attend the Kappa Alpha Theta Emerging Leaders Institute in Fort Collins, Colorado!! Let's hear about her experience!

"This weekend, I had the honor of being selected to attend the Kappa Alpha Theta Emerging Leaders Institute alongside 54 other women representing chapters across North America in Fort Collins, Colorado!

Being able to represent this chapter was such an incredible opportunity. I learned so much about myself, made lasting connections with new sisters, and strengthened personal skills and abilities to grow as an individual leader. While I could name countless insights from the last few days, my biggest takeaway is that there is no one right way to lead, as the importance of leadership comes from knowing how to adapt, utilize different strengths, and be willing to make mistakes. Through meaningful conversations, I was able to identify the leadership traits that I exemplified most confidently, how to lead inclusively and empathetically, and how the intersection of our identities allows for more valuable collaboration.

I can’t wait to take these concepts and tools back to my chapter and larger UCSB community. I’m so grateful to the Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation for their investment in my leadership development, and a special thank you to Bonni Holloway and my small group facilitator, Daria Bisharah, for creating such a wonderful and encouraging experience. I am forever changed by this weekend and all of the people I met, who continued to remind me of why Theta is my home. TLAM 💛🪁✨"

Why Panhellenic Wednesday 💗 This week our Kappa Alpha Theta President, Kaylin Hallada, shares

“My first quarter at Cal Poly, I wasn’t sure I wanted to join a sorority. I was intimidated by the culture and stereotypes, but after a quarter I decided to give Panhellenic a try. I immediately felt more connected on campus, and had weekly sisterhood events to look forward to!

Getting to know more people in my chapter and across the Panhellenic community has truly been a blessing. Many of my favorite college memories and closest friendships have come from Panhellenic events and the bonds formed within and beyond my chapter.

I have grown so much as a leader through participating in formal recruitment, holding positions in my chapter, and helping organize events. I remember looking up to Theta’s executive board, never imagining that I would get the honor to serve as Theta’s Chapter President! Without the support of my sisters and this strong community, I know I would have been on such a different path. I cannot recommend Panhellenic enough and am so excited to see what my final year in Theta holds!“
