We made our first podcast! It was fun. The studio had four (4) cameras, good microphones, lots of light. We talked about a local issue- making our Irvine elections friendlier w/Ranked Choice Voting. #MeasureD #RankedChoiceVoting #Irvine taken in Irvine, California by @calrcv

After months of organizing and working with LA’s Charter Reform Commission to educate and advocate for RCV, and after an outpouring from supporters, even after the Commission included RCV in its recommendations the City Council’s Rules Committee, Council ultimately BLOCKED voters from deciding by ‘kicking the can’ down the road to 2028 👎

But, WE ARE STILL ORGANIZING!!!

Join us in-person at our first ‘Civics & Scholars’ conversational series this Monday, June 29th in Marina Del Rey [events 🎪 link in bio] @ginrummybar / 7p

We need to be ready to mobilize when the new ad hoc committee convenes!!! Stay tuned for more updates 👀

Huge thank you to everyone who brought signs and energy to the #nokings demos across town this weekend!📢✨

Ranked choice voting is the fastest-growing nonpartisan electoral reform in the country. Right here in Irvine, Measure D is bringing together voters from across the entire political spectrum because *true* majority rule is something we can all agree on. 🗳️

Ballots are already in mailboxes, so do not wait! Make your plan to vote early and, of course, go all the way to the very bottom of your ballot to mark YES on Measure D for RCV.

🔗 To help us lock in a win, check out the link in bio, sign-up to canvas, phone bank, pitch signs, or for our next special event.

Shout out to Jackie and her daughter for sharing this amazing scene with us! If you have a burgeoning political artist in your house we would love to see their work. Tag or DM us so we can take a peek. 💕 by @calrcv

Thank you to Susan Sayre and Regents Point for organizing an informative night! Sue Campbell from the League of Women Voters presented on all the California Propositions and I was invited to present on Irvine’s Measure D! 🙌

⏰ Just 2️⃣0️⃣ days until the Nov 3rd election! 🗳️

After the event, somebody came up to me and said, “why don’t we have ranked choice voting nationwide? It makes so much sense!” Well, that’s how we at @voterchoiceirvine feel and are working to bring it to Irvine first because meaningful changes always start at home! 🏠💕

This birthday will be one to remember — I got to vote 𝐘𝐄𝐒 𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐃 to bring Ranked Choice Voting to Irvine! 🥳

- No more worrying about vote spliting!
- No more having to choose the ‘lesser of two evils’
- No more wasted ballots!
- And guarantees MAJORITY RULE!

Ranked choice voting is the fastest growing nonpartian election reform in the country with only 10 cities using it in 2016 and now 50 cities, counties, and states empowering voters across the US. It’s a simple, proven way to vote!

Let’s do this, Irvine! ✅ 𝐕𝐨𝐭𝐞 𝐘𝐄𝐒 𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐃 (it’s the last item on the ballot).
