Huge thank you to everyone who brought signs and energy to the #nokings demos across town this weekend!📢✨

Ranked choice voting is the fastest-growing nonpartisan electoral reform in the country. Right here in Irvine, Measure D is bringing together voters from across the entire political spectrum because *true* majority rule is something we can all agree on. 🗳️

Ballots are already in mailboxes, so do not wait! Make your plan to vote early and, of course, go all the way to the very bottom of your ballot to mark YES on Measure D for RCV.

🔗 To help us lock in a win, check out the link in bio, sign-up to canvas, phone bank, pitch signs, or for our next special event.

On November 3rd, we invite you to Village Well for our first ever Election Night Party to celebrate voting, democracy and community!
We will start the night at 6:30pm with a documentary on Ranked Choice Voting followed by a panel discussion on RCV, and once polls close at 8pm, we will show results as they start coming in... You'll also be able to meet local civic organizations and find out how to get more involved in your local community!
A $20 ticket gets you entrance to the party, a delicious tamal from a local vendor and a non-alcoholic drink - proceeds from the event will go to donations for our non-profit Village Van and Westside Resource Network.
Get your ticket now, tell your friends and come join us on Tuesday, November 3rd to celebrate voting, democracy and community!

Keep the drama OUT of the Dreamhouse! 🏠✨

Barbie is voting 💖 YES on Measure D 💖 because ranked choice voting means positive, issue-focused campaigns instead of negative attacks.

Less mudslinging, more teamwork!

Speaking of teamwork... we are looking for volunteers to round out our weekend canvas. If you're free Saturday morning or Sunday late afternoon, link in bio has the sign-up. ✨

Shout out to Jackie and her daughter for sharing this amazing scene with us! If you have a burgeoning political artist in your house we would love to see their work. Tag or DM us so we can take a peek. 💕

After the event, somebody came up to me and said, “why don’t we have ranked choice voting nationwide? It makes so much sense!” Well, that’s how we at @voterchoiceirvine feel and are working to bring it to Irvine first because meaningful changes always start at home! 🏠💕

Hit the pavement with us this weekend to bring ranked choice voting to Irvine! 🗳️👟 We are working hard to pass Measure D, giving our community a smarter, fairer way to vote.

In case you're new here: Measure D is our local ballot measure for ranked choice voting (RCV). Think of it as a significant upgrade to our elections. Voting YES on D means you can rank candidates in order of preference (1st choice, 2nd choice, 3rd choice...). It puts a stop to vote splitting, makes campaigns more polite, pushes candidates to go beyond their base to earn broader support, and, when all is said and done, the results ensures more voices are heard.

CRUCIAL DETAIL: Measure D is located at the VERY END of your ballot! 🗳️👇 Please do not stop short—make sure to scroll or scan all the way down and check YES.

We have a packed weekend of events!
