This was easily the most emotional experience I’ve had in my young creative career.

The joy that an orange ball brings them is unmatched.

The energy that a barefoot pick-up game exudes is like nothing I’ve ever seen.

And the curiosity and gratitude these kids greeted us with is unforgettable.

It was an honor to be able to capture a sliver of the biggest hoop culture on the planet and an even bigger gift to become more connected with my Pinoy heritage.

Thank You Philippines. Thank You Pineda!🇵🇭🫶🏾 taken in Manila, Philippines by @cam.shot.it

This was my exact trajectory. An accountant.

In 2021, on a Monday morning, I quit my job with KPMG after 6 months.

I had a camera and zero clients. But I had faith in myself and that was enough.

I did free work and delivered UberEats to put money in my pocket.

A few months later I had my first major breakthroughs thanks to the trust of @jade.ensesa , @performax.pt and @_taylorwilsonxlii & @turner_myles

My second leap came when I took a chance at the beginning of 2022 and moved to Miami to pursue content direction for @byanymeansbasketball and @detail.mia

Fast forward 3 years later and as 2024 comes to a close I am extremely grateful for the life I created from that “mistake I was making”.

I’ve gained priceless perspective and enjoyed countless experiences from the work we’ve done growing the game of 🏀 in over 30 countries across 5 continents.

I’ve been grateful to help @turner_myles in his continuing path to greatness! Thanks to @_taylorwilsonxlii lavelt88 @multiopsmanager @davary93

None of this could’ve been accomplished without the support of my friends and family! @rundio723 @catchbrittifyoucan @denettg , my dad, @tbaylessedwards @b.feltonnnn and many more.

For the last 5 years I’ve been on the road with @byanymeansbasketball running camps and coaches education in 30+ countries.

Every academy we worked with had incredible coaching. The business side was a different story. Our own By Any Means academies were no different.
So we built @fullcontrol.hq

One place to run your website, ads, leads, members, payments, scheduling and parent app.

My part has been the content side: the launch video, the ads, the content library and creative requests. A lot of it built with the same AI workflows I used to make this post.

This is just the start. Follow along to see how we keep building.

Still living the dream…

Like anything, expectations and reality rarely align. But I love the challenges that come with the job.

Lmk what you want to know about working in sports and I’ll answer it in a video. by @cam.shot.it

No one’s coming to save you…

I decided to quit a job that didn’t align with what I saw for myself in 2021 and bet on myself and that was the best decision I ever made.

I want to share my journey breaking into sports not only to document my experiences but to help anyone else that may feel stuck or knows they have bigger aspirations to reach. taken in Miami, Florida by @cam.shot.it

The ADAPT Global 2025 experience was priceless. To take a group of 18 athletes from around the world, train and compete against the highest levels of competition all while working through language and cultural barriers was nothing short of amazing.

We can’t wait to keep building on the momentum and help more athletes get better, gain exposure and earn more offers. Until next year…ADAPT OUT!
