How can I exhibit my artwork at Camden Image Gallery? 👨🏻‍🎨👩🏼‍🎨

A frequent question asked.

Camden Image Gallery is a hire space gallery where artists and curators can choose which dates suit them & the preferred duration of their exhibition. All genres of art are welcome at the gallery. Solo exhibitions & groups / collectives are all welcome.

If you’re interested, email the gallerist, Elena Chimonas with a link to your website / examples of your work.
If work is appropriate for the gallery then the gallerist will send the hire prices and floor plan for the individual to decide what suits them best. A meeting is then arranged to discuss options for your exhibition at Camden Image Gallery.

Elena is also available on 07949661450 for those who prefer to speak on the phone or connect through WhatsApp.

Letting everyone know that after 10 and a half amazing years, I have decided to close the Camden Image Gallery doors.

Thank you to all the artists, curators, businesses, exhibition guests & my staff for all your support over the last decade, and what a fantastic decade it has been 😃

I’m very proud to have built this space into an award winning gallery. Thank you to Camden Inspire Awards and Prestige Events.

I’ve been privileged to exhibit a great variety of incredible artwork and host the most wonderful events!
It’s been a pleasure to work with you all.

Today, Saturday 6th April is the last chance to see ‘Jam Tomorrow’
Open 11am - 6pm.

The exhibition displays paintings and drawings by Katalin Haász @katihaasz and Gabor Gyorfi @londontubefaces

”The rule is, jam to-morrow and jam yesterday – but never jam to-day.” Lewis Carroll

This excitement and hope of being on the cusp of a new era were accompanied by the contrasting experience that everything and anything — including artistic expression — was increasingly becoming a commodity. With the perspective of the last 35 years, it is evident that the “JAM TOMORROW” mentality — promising delayed gratification — continues to hold influence despite many recognising it as an illusion. This mindset is not just part of political propaganda but deeply rooted in human nature, more akin to a natural force, such as gravity.

Katalin Haász lives in Budapest and her artistic focus delves into the metaphorical perception and depiction of space-time relationships, along with the abstract representation of determinism.

Gabor Gyorfi currently resides in London, where his art uses thought-provoking political quotes juxtaposed with illustrations. These capture the melancholic resignation of the average person burdened by the consequences of a chaotic, almost surrealistic world around.
