this little girl is beaming with so much pride! a full circle moment getting to perform on the stage that started it all <3

thank you kayla, tara, and bocón for making si se puede happen after 3 years in the making. i am so so grateful to have had the privilege of working alongside all of these talented ladies and to have brought this sweet show to the kids.

thank you so much to hannah, bea, and madison for your incredible leadership in putting together EAL The Seagull. your direction, care, and dedication created such a thoughtful and generous space for all of us to do our best work, and i’m so grateful to have been part of it!

to the cast, thank you for being so wonderfully talented, professional, and kickass in your roles. it was an absolute joy to collaborate with each of you and to witness the depth and nuance you brought to every moment.

being part of a process that allowed us to slow down and really dive into the text through script analysis was such a gift. it made the experience not only creatively fulfilling but personally meaningful. i’m walking away with a full heart and a wonderful new little family <3 by @camelinacedillo

for the past six months, ive had the privilege of growing & creating with this year’s camino 23 cohort. being a part of this process from monday camino meetings to workshopping reina del mar, every moment has been so special to me.

deeply grateful to @daniel.jaquez.sd and @xochi_quetzal_ for their leadership, vision, and care

big thank you to @diversionarysd for opening your doors to camino 23 for three consecutive years and offering a home where our voices can take shape and thrive

Camelina (she/her) is an interdisciplinary artist from San Diego! She is honored to be collaborating with the amazing playwrights of Truth Be Told for their upcoming staged reading. She has received an Associate in Theater Arts from Grossmont College and a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Performance from San Diego State University. Previous productions in San Diego include El Espíritu Del Amor at SDSU, 105 Miles from Home at Fringe Festival San Diego. International productions include The Magic Hummingbird at Opera de Tijuana, and Hamlet at Prague Shakespeare Company. A huge shoutout to all of the playwrights for writing awesome plays, and to the wonderful Kayla for directing! She would also like to send much love to her incredibly supportive family.
