It has taken almost 5 business days for my mind and body to return to the everyday world after being wrapped in a world full of magic.

There are too many words to express all my feelings, but first and foremost I need to thank @camino23collective, @daniel.jaquez.sd, and @diversionarysd for everything they’ve done for me and this year’s cohort. The last month of nearly daily rehearsals made me realize that I am capable of so much more than I give myself credit for, and it was only made possible by knowing, trusting, and loving this group of incredible artists for the last 6 months.

Thank you @xochi_quetzal_ for creating a beautiful world for us to play in. Thank you to my cohort for your kindness and your laughs, you made possible what felt so impossible. Thank you to the crew and creatives for your professionalism and for pulling everything together so quickly. And thank you to everyone who experienced our world with us 💖

Como dice la Shaki:
No encuentro forma alguna de olvidarte porque
Seguir amándote es inevitable

Bullet! It’s out!! First of many this year (I hope) ❤️‍🔥

Full mv is on YouTube, there’s a link in bio if you wanna get there. It was such a joy to film this, to edit this, and to see my friends come out for this. I can’t emphasize enough how down for anything they were and how foolish we all looked in a public park filming this. Joyous and foolish. Thank you Ro, @saufxwest @anshikabee @camelinacedillo @niko_butler @mullercorey and @imnotaaronyouare ❤️‍🔥

On the song front; synth solo and keys by the amazing @vincentbailey_. Sax sounds from @camelinacedillo and @vincentbailey_ as well. Gonna put them on more stuff stat, so grateful for their help and support :)

We are two weeks into our 2025 SD Countywide run of Safa’s Story. We couldn’t be more proud of our ensemble of actors and teaching artists, and the incredible brave youth who courageously step into the play to defend Safa as though she was their own peer experiencing bullying.

it’s hard to summarize the full journey of our 90 minute experience, but it goes a little something like this.

We are entering our fourth year of Zion’s story, Imagine’s forum theater-based Human Trafficking prevention program for youth and families. What we learn every year is that this work takes incredible courage & compassion, strength & humor from our performers, teaching artists and our audiences.

We have a dreamy ensemble of performers in rehearsal this week and pre-and post show classes starting with our powerful team of teaching artists this Friday.

Join us on Sunday, April 12 for@free and open to the public event at @centrocultural

Check out the link in bio.
