Spooky fun. Serious teamwork. 🎃👻

Haunted Hospital brings students from across CPHS and CUSOM together for interprofessional learning with a Halloween twist! With costumes encouraged, this IPE event combines creativity and fun with opportunities to learn from one another and build the teamwork skills future healthcare professionals need.

And if a few photos look a little hazy, blame the fog machine. It took its role in creating a spooky atmosphere very seriously! 😂🌫️

Behind the glitz and glam that you may see, one of the core pillars of who I am has always been mentorship. 🤎

Honored to be featured in the Summer 2026 edition of @campbelledu Magazine, sharing a little of my journey and the story behind @colorofmedicine .

Mentorship is deeply personal to me. I know what it means to have someone see potential in you, make the introduction, open the door—or simply remind you that you belong in the room.

When @dr.leach and I started Color of Medicine in 2018, the vision was to create more of those moments for the next generation. Eight years later, that vision continues through mentorship, clinical experiences, STEM education, professional development, and creating access to opportunity.

This year, we brought that vision to life in a new way with our inaugural ONE Voice Speaker Forum—and I couldn’t be more excited about what’s still to come.

The degree may have my name on it, but the purpose has always been bigger than me. 🤎

Be sure to follow @colorofmedicine to see more of what we’re building—and what’s still to come. ✨

Our final day was filled with meaningful conversations, reflection, and celebration. Participants enjoyed brunch, explored wellness during a “Self Care in Health Care” session, and tackled real world challenges during “Drawing Your Line in the Sand: Ethical Questions in Healthcare,” led by a faculty panel.

The week concluded with closing remarks, fun superlatives, and plenty of smiles as we celebrated new friendships, unforgettable experiences, and a future generation of healthcare leaders. 🩺💊🧬❤️
